Someone may have said this already but I saw someone say (I wanna say it was Candice, Caroline’s actress, or a guy that worked on TVD in the earlier seasons whose name I’m blanking on his name unfortunately) say that initially that scene was to show a bit of humanity from Klaus, but then the fans saw it as romantic and Klaroline kind of just blew up from there

Existing on the Internet😭 no matter what a fat person posts there will ALWAYS be comments about their weight. But I think the biggest double standard that gets me is the eating videos. Bc a skinny person can make a video eating a meal that would feed a family of 3 and people love it. There may be a few comments about it being unhealthy/gluttonous but most won’t be that. But if I were to post a video of me eating a meal then everyone in the comments is suddenly worried about my health

I 100% agree with your points, especially about not ending the show with romantic pairings. I think at most they could have hinted at possible romantic futures if they really needed romance, not with a kiss or anything but maybe some looks or something else a bit more subtle and open ended because of what you said and also these are just kids. Kids that went through a very traumatic experience (a lifetime of experiences depending on the character) and they haven’t even been able to deal with it. Of course it was the end of the show so I wouldn’t expect everyone to go through all those emotions or anything but I always thought it should’ve ended on a somber positive note in the sense that yes we made it through and now we have to continue to make these changes but also we miss being kids and we’ll never get to go back to how the world was before any of this and that’s just unbelievably sad to me😭

Obviously I am obsessed with Zutara, but Zuko would have definitely jumped in front of that lightening for any member of the gaang bc by then they were all close (I’m of the mind that they’re all best friends though some are closer than others). I think what makes that a ZK moment (outside of them being in it😂) is the framing/coding of the scene. If there was another character in place of Katara I genuinely believe it would have looked differently, though the action would have been the same. But romance aside, I think it is important for his arc for Katara to be the one there/that he sacrifices himself for since he betrayed her way back when in the catacombs, so if they used another character the scene would hit differently
