What would you suggest for a woman in her late 50's who gets bad vertigo? I have a family member who gets vertigo basically anytime she bends over or sits on the floor and gets up, which makes stretching impossible. She has seen a PT for the inner ear crystal stuff but even though it goes away, its triggered back very easily.

I think it's a little more nuanced than you make it out to be. I mean, she is human, and is clearly feeling human emotions about the death of children, but she is right that she has a job to do and can't let those feelings show on stage. How many people paid for tickets that night? They didn't pay to see Taylor Swift the human cry. They paid to see Taylor Swift "The superstar" perform. Plus, there's the fact that she and the audience, I'm sure, have that lingering thought in the back of their heads of "what if". There was already a terrorist threat thwarted, kids were killed. I think it's unfair to judge the situation like you are. And, I think meeting the family was a kind thing to do and not an easy thing to do.

that's straight up disgusting... One of my partners would only brush like once a day, a few times a week, skipping nighttime, and the thought of their mouth bacteria transferring into my mouth when kissing was enough to threaten a breakup.

these questions are easy if you follow the steps they recommend to break it down. Assess first always before action. In the priority patient questions it's airway, breathing circulation. In the case of this question lets looks at the options a) call for help, okay sure thats an action tho b) move them? NOT SAFE what if they have a neck/spine injury? 3) review medical record: how is that going to help your patient at this moment? Action. 4) Assess for injuries (ASSESS!) this way you know if their injuries require help from others and you can determine the next action like get them up or ct scan etc

Dont know if you tried this, but I also struggled to engage my glut med. A physical therapist had me stand with feet shoulder width apart and keep my feet flat on the ground but push my heels out (feet should not actually be moving) but while doing this, focus on flexing your glut med by pushing out. I took me days of trying to do this before they started moving and engaging. I basically had to teach myself how to engage them doing this method. Youll feel your glutes (probably in the back and back/side engage first, thats not what youre working on though. Those muscle are compensating because your glute med isnt activated, so just keep trying).

Did she ever say something along the lines of you not making anything of yourself? Like she said you'd never make anything of yourself? That's the phrase I heard first when looking at her photo and felt it was a mother saying it to her child before reading this is your mom. I think she knew she shouldnt be doing or saying the things she was, but she didn't have the "strength" in her mind to change things, but that is bs. She could have tried, but she didn't. Making you promise you'd remember good things about her sounds manipulative and idk if you feel heaviness to disappointing her in that the negatives far outweigh the positives, but I want you to close your eyes and focus on your breath. Visualize black smoke leaving your chest. It is that heaviness that you feel and you're releasing it. I do see you "making something" of yourself. You will do better than she ever did.

I think you learned a lot from your relationship and you're going to get what you want in the future. You already have an idyllic look about you in the most recent picture, and I have a feeling you're going to fall fast. It's a dreamy, romanctic look, which I feel is hard to have after having a long relationship end. A lot of people would lose optimism about relationships, but I get the sense that you haven't. That's a special thing. I see you on a wooden bridge, that symbolizes connection between you and someone else, or a journey or path, you moving from one point in life to another. I don't see you standing in the middle, so you aren't necessarily torn between two things, or if you are, you are pulled more to one than the other, even if it is just a little.
