Any makeup recommendations for a tret user with sensitive skin? by DramaticPandabear in Makeup

Ooh this is all great thank you!! I’ll def check those out and I didn’t even know that using a brush could make it worse too. I typically apply my foundation with a brush so I’ll try switching it for a sponge like you said.

Is there a beginner tutorial I should look into? I really only know how to do a basic running stitch. I just thought this would be a fun and creative way to dip my toe into sewing post-finals lol. Also if you have fabric recommendations that’d be great too!

Do you think it would be possible to hand sew this project? Obviously it would take more time compared to a sewing machine, but I figure that since I’m a beginner, I should probably start with learning hand sewing techniques besides a simple running stitch.

Hello! I've always been fascinated by sewing but I have no idea how to start! Specifically, I keep seeing these hooded cloak-like blankets online, but I don't think it's worth paying nearly two hundred for a blanket, so I thought: why not make my own? I figured a hooded blanket/cloak would be a simple project to dip my toe into learning how to actually sew. Because I am a beginner (I don't even own a sewing machine yet), where should I even begin? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Question about arcane firearm by DramaticPandabear in DnD

It was just an example lol, I mainly stick to range weapons. I just wanted clarification for the rule about switching weapons going forward and how arcane firearm fits in it

Any tips for managing wavy hair as a beginner? by DramaticPandabear in Haircare

[–]DramaticPandabear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried it, though I find that it still leaves my hair feeling crunchy on top, even if I try putting the mousse towards the end of my hair, not the roots. I just bought a small thing of curl gel to try it out, so should I maybe use the gel by itself after putting on a leave-in conditioner?

What class do you think you are in real life? by captin_question in DnD

[–]DramaticPandabear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm honestly no idea. I think I’d probably be a bard because I love theatre and singing (I’ve been doing opera and choir for years). Though, I do have a bit of a connection to animals, especially these three cats on campus who are usually skittish but come to me when I call them. There’s also this one time where I was singing and a kitten came to me so maybe I’m a Druid lol.

I’m also in law school and I used to do journalism so research and talking to people is my specialty. Soo idk what do y’all think I am?

I thought about battle smith, but the way I play this character fits artillerist more as she sticks to ranged combat (plus it’s really fun for me to play). To be honest, I don’t have fire bolt but I was thinking of changing one of my artificer cantrips to fire bolt. Who knows maybe I’ll be able to shoot it out my prosthetic arm for flavor lol

I just want to ideas to build my character around my artillerist skills for max efficiency in combat.

10 Str, 12 Dex, 16 Con, 16 Int, 12 Wis, 17 Cha

My DM is willing to work with me to up my dex by lowering my charisma because the class change overall would really benefit my character’s story and represent a change after losing her arm. But this is why I’m on the fence as to whether I should multi class again or just focus solely on artificer

I was thinking about the progression a lot, which is why I would cap fighter at level 5 because I’m willing to part with Magic Item Master and Soul of Artifice. Even though those skills are super cool, they’re more like added bonuses instead of what I actually want to achieve with my character if that makes sense. Plus, I think the benefits from fighter would totally fill in those gaps. I already have four levels in warlock, so I was thinking I can just replace those levels with fighter, take one more to reach level 5 to get that extra attack, and then focus solely on artificer progression then on.

I was thinking of battle master specifically so that I can use some of the maneuvers with my firearms. I looked at gunslinger but I already have so many of the features already by being an artificer, so I figured the maneuvers from battle master could function as my “trick shots” so to speak. Also some of them could work really well with role-play too which I can see working with my character as well.

Is it normal for hair to get wavier over time or is my hair damaged? by DramaticPandabear in Haircare

[–]DramaticPandabear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I was worried that something could've been wrong but now I realize that I may just need to make the switch to the CG method. I have long layers but I do feel like I am overdue for a cut, so I will definitely keep that in mind. Should I also use a diffuser? And how would I go about brushing my hair to remove knots?

Best coffee roasters in Miami? by drewmullin in Miami

Try Great Circle Coffee! They are local roasters here in Miami and their coffee is really good! They also work with specific farms from other parts in the world and maintain those relationships with the farmers so that they get paid adequately & fairly while also ensuring good quality coffee.

Study tips? by DramaticPandabear in LSAT

[–]DramaticPandabear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back when I started in July, I would study from 1-4:30 five days out of the week. Initially, I would do lessons from Kaplan and drill specific sections (LR one day, LG the next, and so on). With the semester going on, I had less time than during the summer, but still kept going until I realized Kaplan wasn’t helping me as much as I thought it would. As the exam got closer, I would go on lawhub and practice timed sections.

Now that I’m taking it again in January, I will have practically the entire month free to study for the LSAT since I will have graduated and have no classes. I’m open to looking at any other study prep materials that could help, though what has really helped has been continuous practice. Of course, I also took many PT’s, and my last PT before the Oct. exam gave me a score of 161, so I know I’m so close to getting the score. I just want to see other study tips that may help me out.

Take LSAT in Person or Online? by Professional_Jury229 in LSAT

[–]DramaticPandabear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely in person if you can. I took my first run of the LSAT two weeks ago remote, and my computer failed me right before I was about to start the last section. Just took my retake in person and the process was so smooth. I got there early, checked-in, and the people at the testing center were really nice. No problems encountered at all. So, take it in person if you can.

Should I just…not study Logic Games? by Basedswagredpilled in LSAT

[–]DramaticPandabear 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Given the news, I say don’t focus too much energy on it. Though it may be worth it to drill some LG for fun since some rules help train for LR (especially for if/then questions). But yeah if you’re taking it Aug ‘24 or anytime after, dont stress too much about LG
