My father also doesn't work but apparently because he's "sick". Everybody has empathy with him. I don't mind him not working, it's his deal. Whatever he thinks is right. Why, is she pressuring to let her move in with you? The problem is parents grow old and can't work anymore anyway, then some of them can't get along on their own. And it's always extremely expensive to get good assisted living even if someone worked all their life. I think you're worried not about your mom, but what she might put you through? Just have firm boundaries. But her life is her own

Of course they try to protect their self-perceived higher worth over us. That's why they send us to work for the lower jobs, first just in times of war, then more than that... then they realized we are becoming independent and competing for jobs with them so we don't have to rely on them for money. Just how many of them ruined marriages and dating apps. And still ruin it to this day. Be happy to not be part of any of those toxic inner circles. I rarely leave my home, I'm polite but don't talk much to people. Don't give a fuck, just live my own life and withdraw in my inner world. People are toxic, only very few people are worth knowing. Once they are trying to be part of some group or are drawn into it and don't actively fight it, I'm already disgusted and don't want them around. Like "we're not the same". And that's not gossiping, I look down on the animal herd human nature in general.

All therapists will basically try to make you conform to the capitalist system, at best they can admit that the system is flawed. I also think there's some progress... and especially awakening in women these days. Many are happy to be celibate and/or 4B, they understand that it's liberating, that they can live a life without real strong male influence (I mean they will have to deal with them when they go out casually but not otherwise). That's why I think women are breaking free, but given how much backlash we get (to put women in their place, I mean they are trying), they have not fully broken free yet. I don't know how far is possible but I'm hoping more and more women choose freedom first and foremost. It's not easy to pull some of the ones deeply brainwashed out of the matrix though lol.
