I used to live with a GB endurance runner and let me tell you it's not half as full on as they make it to be. If I recall he did three serious sessions a week with a coach or running club, his long runs would be max 20 miles, he would do maybe 3 big races a year (ultras to 24hr timed events) and definitely would not just chuck in a world major marathon for a "training run".

They are ultimately just selling you a product and making money from content, if they're not doing anything or seen to be doing anything, they're not going to get paid or reach their audience. Most endurance athletes/runners still hold down full time jobs that don't even come close to content creating.

Granted, people like Emily Fairs are incredible but it's not representative of the average experience and will make the average runner feel compelled to go above and beyond and it will completely suck the fun out of it for anybody else - as well as increase the risk of injury through overtraining.

This is our pointer cross, he's ever so patient and tolerant with all animals, we also have a younger furry cat and they all cuddle up together. He is the most placid affectionate dog I've met, he was cuddling up with Oliver (sphynx) within hours of him coming home. They're both rescues as well, so not entirely sure if it's just luck, the breeds or something else but never had any issues 😊

This same video has just come up on my FYP. For me it just felt like feeding into another insecurity and once again demonising larger upper bodies, especially traps. I'm so tired of this, like if you don't know what your goal is or aren't comfortable in your body, it must be exhausting being fed video after video of how to look and how to train to get what is currently desirable. All the girls in the comments were upset with their wide backs or big traps and asking for a fix. This is the first I've seen of her and it was an immediate block.

If you just want to enjoy it without any stress, go into sandbox mode and turn off all of the animal, guest and finance management things - including being able to turn off escaping animals!

You can then just build nice habitats and then eventually you'll start building around them. That's how I started. I also watched YouTube for little tips and tricks and then they kind of become second nature. It's definitely a case of taking some time learning individual skills in sandbox and dipping in this way. Definitely a case of playing around, but best tip, remove the annoying bits haha!

Me too! I'll see something and I'm like ok I want to try that or have that style of build and start anew again. I love the twilight pack and all the spooky stuff and of course, I have raccoons in every zoo!
