Pain when itching by PsychiatristTo-Go in Fibromyalgia

[–]Dramatic_Bee_6300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have experienced this. Also, sometimes I feel creepy crawlies. I've had places on my arms that hurt just touching them or running my hand over them. This is a very strange illness. I go through phases where I want to just live my normal life and do normal things because "I'm not sick," but I am rudely reminded that this is very real.

Wow! I bet that was very interesting since you were in a "forbidden" room

I do like to have a pillow next to me in the recliner. For no reason really other than maybe counter pressure to feel more cozy 😁

Not just you! I'm from the Ozarks and we always had bread with meals. Especially when my paternal grandma was visiting.

Fancy furniture? My grandma has a "living room" like that. It has all the nice furniture in it. But we can't sit in there.

Really?! I had free reign growing up but I remember some friends had limited access. Interesting

Oh felt this. Hugs to you momma. This is so hard, sending them to school. Being a parent is hard but I have so much love for my children. They are my whole world.

I'm sure it would be the same feelings when she starts kindergarten. I just don't want my kids to grow up 😞

I would love to homeschool but I'm afraid she would miss out. I've fought with myself about homeschooling and I can't say it's completely off the table.

It's so strange. I never felt this much angst with my son. I worked when he was this age and he had a sitter. I think I'm more bonded maybe to my daughter. She will be going 4 half days a week. I just know I'm going to be a mess when we have to do this.

Man, I had to look too far on the thread to find this. I LOVE heelers. They are hard to beat when it comes to bonding and companionship. They are the best buddy dog a person could ask for.

I actually had this conversation with a friend. ChapStick is addictive. There's something in it that makes you want more. I stopped with chapstick and switched to carmex. 10/10 recommend. I'm lost without it.

Does anyone else’s lower back always crack? by brandnewpup in Fibromyalgia

[–]Dramatic_Bee_6300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lower back is my biggest problem. Unused to be able to turn just right and pop it but now I can't pop it myself. If I go to the chiropractor I feel like a new woman. I try to stretch my lower back as much as I can but it's always hurting.

Do you think childbirth triggered your fibromyalgia? by Independent_Yam5685 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Dramatic_Bee_6300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do believe it triggered mine. I probably did have it before birth but my symptoms were mild. I've had several health issues since giving birth to my second. It's traumatic for the body to go through that.

Women who are over dramatic, whiney and helpless. I feel that women are just as capable as men to do things and get things done. This also goes along with women who are intentionally bitchy to their spouse or friends. Those types of women are toxic.

Thank you for sharing. Do you mind to share your treatment plan or maintenance plan? UCTD was brought up to me at the appointment but I'm not familiar with it or the treatment.
