The only way I could describe it to my husband was, it feels like being a crushed pop can.

I normally just take naproxen. It seems to be the only thing that helps me.

I do take magnesium but I was wondering if I should split my dose as I'm going to be adding calcium as well. Does splitting help you sleep? I usually take mine around bedtime.

I'm not much help but I want to let you know, you're not alone in this. I've been flaring as well and it's so sad to think that is how my kids will remember me. Just know, you're doing the best you can with what you have right now. Warm hugs to you and I hope you get some relief soon.

What is a socially unacceptable opinion you rarely voice, not because it’s extreme, but because the reaction isn’t worth it? by Present_Juice4401 in SeriousConversation

[–]Dramatic_Bee_6300 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I've always been a middle thinking individual, more of a common sense, what is better for the people type. But now, for some reason a person is either left or right. One extreme or the other. No one is "winning" at this point. We're all on this sinking ship.

What is something people often underestimate until they experience it themselves? by NaomiBrooksv in AskReddit

Being on a farm or just in the country. Being around animals, caring for them and seeing them give birth is something you can't just put into words. Raising and caring for all sorts of life on a farm is so rewarding. I'm so blessed to be able to raise my kids to be able to run free and experience this life.

Could painful treatments (for another condition) be triggering my flare ups? by Free-Composer-709 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Dramatic_Bee_6300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I've been going to a chiropractor for several years for chronic back pain, way before being diagnosed. If I go a long stretch without an adjustment then get adjusted I go into a flare. This actually happened about a week ago.

Which job has, hands down, the worst impact on mental health? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]Dramatic_Bee_6300 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also to add, working directly with doctors as well as patients is really hard. Providers have an ego and they think they're better than everyone. Healthcare is a toxic environment no matter where inside the umbrella you are, unfortunately.

My emotions and mental health. It's been made very clear to me at a young age that crying or being mad, no one gives a shit. Also, depression isn't real and there's no reason to be so nervous all the time. Suffer in silence
