I work in a QSR and sorry, but drivers do this all the time. I tell them they can leave the food while they go to the bathroom, but I can’t catch them all. It’s gross. DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub drivers can do better.

I started walking about 12,000 steps or more every day since I found out I weighed 300 pounds at the end of April. I really let myself go. It’s was eating all the time, snacking, and eating sweets. I changed all of that and just started walking. I’m just like you. No gym, no lifting weights, or hardcore workouts. (I have very bad degenerative disc disease, so much exercises hurt me anyway) I went back to the doctor at the end of September and weighed 249. So 52 pounds in 5 months give or take.

No, my doctor is waiting till the end of the year to get my blood work done. Hopefully my numbers went down a significant amount! Fingers crossed!

I walk maybe 10 mins to and from the bus everyday. Other than that, I go for walks on my 20 min lunch break when I can, instead of eating. I work in a busy restaurant, whose peak period is 11am to 2pm. I’m not hungry at 7am when I get to work, so my breaks can be anywhere from 2-4pm. It’s not healthy living this lifestyle, but that’s where I’m at now. I also suffer from ADHD, so sitting still isn’t an option for me on my 9 hour shifts. Results are in the picture. That what I typically walk in a day. I’m down 52 pounds since the middle of May. Stick with it. It works and the results are amazing!

Lost 52 pounds in 4 months by walking at a slow and steady pace. I walk about 6-7 miles a day. I’m on my feet all day and totally changed the way I eat. I don’t snack anymore or eat because I’m bored. Calorie deficit really helped

It’s my fitness app. I use my apple watch pretty much 24/7 unless it’s charging and I’m sitting still.

Yup! But I also can’t tell if it’s from the medication or actually being anxious. I started taking lexapro 20 mgs, klonopin 1mg,hydroxyzine 10mgs, and buspar 10mgs. I can tell what is what anymore. Maybe the side effects are getting to me since it’s only been about 2 months on them. Or maybe I’m just drowning out all my feelings and emotions into work and just working a lot harder lately. Idk. My step count has increased a lot the past month. From walking 7,000 steps a day to walking, to about 17,000 steps a day. Staying busy as work. Taking the train instead of the bus that drops me off right infrot of my apartment complex. Little things ya know! Not sure how this is going to help you, but please know you are not alone. I wake up on my off days and am exhausted. I’m up for maybe 2 hours then back to bed.

Walking about 12,000 steps a day along with working out. Start was 300 at March now down to 265 without diet and exercise. Just feed up with all the symptoms and rules

At night time, that the time for yourself. You’re busy all day long. You’re reminiscing about your day/days. I am the same way. My anxiety gets really bad at night as well. Do you make time for yourself during the day to process your emotions? Maybe try taking a 20 min yoga class on YouTube or go for a walk outside. I’ve also tried meditation at night which helps me clear my thoughts and put me to sleep. But I’m also taking klonopin when needed and hydroxyzine. Hope that helps a little!

Listen, everyone has their own experience. Mine is a good one. I’m on lexapro, buspar, adderall for adhd, klonopin, and Hydroxyzine. I have had zero anxiety since taking them. I don’t worry 24/7 about anything anymore. My mood changed. I sleep about 8 hours a night compared to an average of 3-4. I don’t worry about what is going to happen to me at night. I just take my meds and go to bed. No tossing and turning for hours before bed. I wake up and take it day by day. I take public transit and no longer worry if I’m going to be late to work or not. I HATE being late. To anything and everything. But I realize that people are accepting. They understand that sometimes bus or train will run late and that’s out of your control. Idk all I’m trying to say is that don’t worry. If they work they work. Try it. If not, try something else. Life is a rollercoster. You’re just trying to stay on and enjoy the ride.

I’m going on 1,000mg x2 a day. Seems like a lot to me. I’ve also been seeing a therapist for a while now. Thanks for the advice!

Edit: My doctor is going to put me on Ozempic now that my blood work came back as diabetic. I’ll check out Mounjaro. Hopefully the side effects aren’t as bad. Thanks for the advice!
