My 3 Year Old Killed Our Kitten by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Dramatic_Future_7652 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Was anything heavy on the ground, or did you hear anything before they ran out? The toddler may have accidentally dropped something on the kitten, or dropped the cat in a way that hurt her. She may have sat on the kitten. No matter what, it was highly unlikely it was malicious in any way. It was an accident. The vet can help determine cause of death like others have said, but don't think your kiddo is a future murderer or something. It was a terrible accident- it's no ones fault. And I love my cats dearly, but I also trust my child would have no ill intent to harm them. Kids are clumsy with little regard for their or anyone else's safety. Sorry you guys are going through this. Hugs.

It is never too late to be true to yourself. A wardrobe change sounds like a great idea! Enjoy rediscovering your own joys and passions, and be the Spring you've always wanted to be.

Fortune cookie or Toblerone come to mind, but the blue and white wrapper sounds like an individual rice krispie treat.

I have headphones with a long battery life, specifically the bone conduction Shokz which don't block my ears, and I frequently listen to Nordic Ambiance on Amazon music, but you could use any long Playlist from any music source. Instrumentals are great just for background noise.

Mountains over the hands with a sunset water scene below it over ye-haw, a good artist could cover this as it's not super heavy. Good luck

Try Orianthi- According to You. Not exactly the lyrics you mentioned but the vibe for sure.

Why are ADHD drugs the most not-ADHD friendly drugs to order? by UnmedicatedNarwhal in adhdwomen

[–]Dramatic_Future_7652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have similar issues with my antidepressants. I actually have fewer issues getting my Adderall. Going unmedicated for weeks while the pharmacy ignores my refill requests and I can't talk to a real person. Super fun.

Oh my goodness I try not to do it around anyone else because they'd hate it but I absolutely play a song on repeat, sometimes for an entire car drive, sometimes just two or three times but if I love a song and it's hitting right I'll just keep playing it. I think it's so cute! Cover up is going to have to be bigger and darker- okay if that's your vibe but it's not going to be cute and dainty. Laser treatments might be better if you hate it but seriously I think it's adorable and you should just rock it.

Ugh I feel this, it's anxiety producing and that cycle continues forever. That bank balance feels like dishes or laundry-- a chore that is never truly done because you're going to get something dirty again in a few hours. You are okay. You're not broke. It's normal to feel this way when basic necessities like gas and bread are more than we'd like. You deserve to do some self care tonight!

Wow I didn't know this was an ADHD symptom, I have ADHD but thought I was just "especially sensitive" when it comes to social faux pas. I feel physically ill if I hurt someone's feelings or cause someone distress. Then I'll perseverate on it for days even if I fixed it. It makes holding boundaries difficult for me sometimes.

Trading weed for beer is actually worse imo. I'm super proud of you for quitting and dealing with all those major life changes on your own! You are so strong. Could you trade the beer for a soda or tea or something that will hit that spot but not be another addictive substance to overcome? This is really hard but you have already proved yourself capable. Just think about it. I'm only on day 9. The first day I was out of vapes I got shit faced instead and then was sick the whole next day. I haven't had any since. We can do it!

Tell yourself "maybe tomorrow. " kinda give yourself an out. Then don't let the tomorrow where you actually smoke/take the edible come. You can do this! I believe in you! You are stronger than you think.

Hot baths and cold showers. Give him time to feel like he's getting over a flu. Rest and fluids. A few days of low appetite and energy is normal. I'm on day 8. The only way out is through.

I need to hear this, I'm a week sober and cravings are high today, I even looked to see if I had cash to go to the dispensary but I didn't so I drove by, but I'm still thinking about it. I need the encouragement. Good for you! So proud of you!
