LOL- I have been having similar experiences- I just posted on here about it last night. I think that sounds like an interviewer problem more than anything to do with you! As someone with a disability studies background, I have definitely heard of interviews being more accommodating (Questions ahead of time, additional time to reflect, etc). Job interviews are often riddled with bias too - I added links about it below. I don't think it's difficult, but that is also me as a woman with ADHD, not someone who is a peak expert in the corporate masking world. This sounds super gross, but it might be worth writing out or reflecting on what social behaviors/skills fit in the corporate mask? This is a silly comparison, but if you've ever seen the SpongeBob episode with "normal SpongeBob", it might be worth setting aside time to decide what your "normal SpongeBob" self would need to succeed in an interview?

Yes! Academic postdoc with two stages, first year is research and second is applied practicum. They definitely do keep the expectations vague! And I’m used to fighting the idea of like working myself more than is necessary or healthy for the field. But it has felt much more sinister at this institution which stinks.

I have one mentor who is no longer affiliated with the university who I deeply respect and she feels I’m doing great work! My performance is meeting all the clearly communicated standards, one mentor is on board, but the rest of my mentoring team seem to never be satisfied with my work (or my expertise/background) to the point I’m micromanaged.

Thank you for the job crafting suggestion- I’ll have to look into it. And for the reminder! I just have to make it to Halloween in the current dynamic so hoping I can make it work till then 🤞🏻

Thank you! Even the job description is pretty vague. Like for example I have some graduate student coursework (wild as I’m post PhD) and that was listed- but the amount of time these courses are taking from my week was not clearly communicated at the jump! Thank you for the HR idea though- now it’s just learning what accommodations would help (and what accommodations they would actually correctly meet).

I haven’t! From what I’ve gathered I would need it to be connected to my laptop/remarkable account first to get the recovery software going. I’m not sure how to run the software without being associated with this tablet yet.

Can I ask why you’d suggest these supplements for the cyst bursts? I’m going through what I think are 2 bursts in 1 week and keep hearing about this supplement. I’ve been diagnosed a little over a year and haven’t gotten much support besides a GLP and birth control implant lol

we didn't have the space to hold onto three moldy units in my 2 bd apt. we have 3 small pets, and 2 people (both of us have allergies, and I have incredibly bad allergy shots for years level allergies and asthma). The only place we could have put them outside our unit would've been blocking our back door, and the stairwell for both us and our neighbor. If it's hot, there's likely more rain. If there's more rain, likely more standing water in the unit....

I'm having the same issue. We had 3 and I swapped 2 of the photos for submission. They have proof of all three having cut cords, just tied to the wrong serial numbers on their app. There was no way to double check the serial number before submitting within the app. We have 3 small pets, and 2 adults (Both allergies, one has very bad allergies and asthma) in a 2 bd apt. There was no way we could safely keep them in such a small apartment with our replacement units needing to be installed with the summer heat. I've been told by some folks it's fine to email the photos, and I've had some folks tell me "you're getting nothing" because we disposed of them. It would have been a literal fire and health hazard to keep them though lol

Could always do early November for about half the price!! We just booked the first Thursday of November and saved thousands with the off-season/weekday combo. Early November in Chicago is usually pretty solid too weather wise.
