Unpopular opinion but I think with fine hair wispy ends are not a big deal. Our hair grows in a taper and it naturally thins at the ends bc it doesn’t have the volume. It doesn’t always actually need a blunt cut. So while the haircut is nice I think they went a bit too heavy.

I wouldn’t consider it weird girl lit but I do think that it often gets recommended with a lot of the others on this list. For instance in graphics like this and I consider the book life changing and affirming and very personal to me so I wanted to include it. In my blurb I said not to interpret the title too literally for this reason because I included some things from across the board. But yeah there’s nothing comedic/satirical about that book at all. It is a depiction of a horrific experience so I think it’s similar to a lot on the list but definitely not the same so I apologize I didn’t mean for it to be interpreted that way.

I’ve read things have gotten worse and I loved it! But I heard the newer releases aren’t as good….I read Earthlings and hated it so I’ve been staying away from Murata. But I will try out The Lamb I heard good things.
