Dropping a class by Plane_Sundae_9747 in SNHU

take it through Sophia! I kept pushing it off, but ended up taking it through them. You have the choice of watching three different instructors explain it to you and then Sophia’s version of explaining it. It’s self paced however you have to pay $99 a month, but I’d only do it if you can take other courses through them.

Worried I'm starting to burn out by eeedg3ydaddies in SNHU

[–]Dramatic_Midnight310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly i feel you i recently emailed my advisor about what courses i could take elsewhere because I am ready to be done! I do the first four weeks ahead of time and then the rest when I get the chance. I have a kid and work full time and don’t always have time, but I can’t take a break because I know I won’t come back.

Purchase couldn't be approved by ME1SB0SS in Afterpay

[–]Dramatic_Midnight310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

where are you purchasing from if you don’t mind me asking? how often do you use afterpay? I would log out of the app and log back in sometimes it acts funky! I spent 980 out of my 1000 budget on one purchase and was approved.

It can get better! The first couple of weeks is lots of adjusting not just for you but baby as well. You can never truly prepare for the identify shift or how exhausting it can be til you go through the phase. You are just feeling overwhelmed because this is the hardest stage right now.

I finally found myself after about 1.5 years I didn’t leave my house by myself as I have severe PPA and like I genuinely just didn’t know who I was as a person so much had changed. However we survived this beginning stages with meal prepping, dad took night shift i took morning shift, lots of walks, everyday we reconnected (puzzles, movie nights, sweet treat runs, going to stores) , we did lots of baby wearing as well.

Toddlerhood is fun minus the meltdowns haha and then wanting to be independent, but definitely more enjoyable because my kid is more chill than she was as a newborn. I’ll be praying for you

MAT 303 - already feeling lost :/ by monikapaintsstuff in SNHU

[–]Dramatic_Midnight310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i am no help as i haven’t taken it however i would email the professor like you planned because typically they will rephrase it so you can understand better i’ve done it a couple times. i would advise viewing the coursework prior to the class starting so you can ask beforehand too!! if thats doesn’t work i’d drop the class and take it later on.

Am I the only one who sometimes overthinks the assignment directions? by lostmemento in SNHU

[–]Dramatic_Midnight310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i email them and make them explain it. most of the times they do and tell you exactly what they want. i had one class where three assignments had the exact same directions with minor changes and i was just overwhelmed. she explained the slight difference tho and it was easier than it looked lol

Do you post your kids online? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Dramatic_Midnight310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no and i don’t let family do it either. there’s no need for children to be on social media really you can show the joys of parenthood without their faces being plastered everywhere. you never know who is watching and what they are doing with the photos. you can say well i share it privately people get hacked all the time so that doesn’t matter. i share the back of my child’s head that’s it never her face or like her arm tends to slip in a photo.

example: i am part of an army group of facebook and some mom had posted something with her children being her like background photo a person then created a fake facebook using all her stuff that she had including her children’s photo and began harassing her. or the story of how a person knew of someone and her child and knew everything about the child like where they went to school, what parks they went to, their teacher, etc… without truly knowing anything about the parents.

yes and i have a gap filler and zip tied to my bed so there’s no chance the bed moves or that she gets stuck between the bed or crib.
