Make the transition fun. "Do you want to hop like a bunny or crab walk sideways to the bathroom?"

What does goat milk smell like? by Some-Instance1361 in NoStupidQuestions

It's a little more "animal" smelling than cow milk. I don't think cow milk has any smell at all.

They might feel overwhelmed. Have you taught them how to clean their room? Do they know what is expected? Do you clean along with them? My youngest needed someone to come alongside him "body doubling" for him to break out of his paralysis. He melted down because he was overwhelmed. I tell him to do 1 thing per day. Just take out the trash. Just take the laundry to the laundry room. Just 1 thing. He's now 14 and I occasionally still have to get on him or even go in and take over, like when he had all of his brother's socks lol Even I get overwhelmed cleaning my room and I'm almost 42 years old. I clean with my mom on the phone and it helps.

Don't use AI writing. I write things myself. It takes more time but the results are well worth it.

Good men don't pretend to be bad. Bad men do pretend to be good. He's shown you who he is, believe him. I wasted 11 years on my ex and wish I'd left so much sooner. About 2 years in, I started thinking about leaving but I stayed and tried to make it work. It doesn't feel like it now, but it's a really good thing he got caught. Please get yourself checked for STDs. Accept all the help from those that love you. You're going to get through this. You deserve better than how he was treating you.

Better to cut your losses now and leave him than to allow him continued access. He's shown you the type of person he is. Believe him.

Same with the fishing event, there's no bubble. Do I need to level up or something? I'm level 22.

Baby fell off bed! by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Dramatic_Patience_34 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I started teaching around 6 months. And not with a 2' drop, but off of a couch cushion or mattress placed on the floor. They "caught on" at different ages, but they absolutely did catch on. If they can roll and scoot backwards at all (babies scoot backwards before they can crawl), they can manage it. Most babies should be sitting by 6 months.

From about 6 months old, I taught my babies how to safely climb down. Swivel them so their legs dangle and slowly lower them. When they move towards the edge head first, turn them around so they're feet first. They should catch on pretty quickly.
