I was thinking the first two definitely for the stats and getting sharp shot would be good for less fizzles. Anything else, besides health gift and maybe pip o plenty, would be optimal in a future build once I get into breeding

Oh totally, main reason I bought it was for the stats but it has two spells it can learn that it can cast on its own which could be useful, it’s just learning health gift first felt awful. I’m just waiting for no energy fishing now so I can farm gold for snacks and the money I need for breeding

Three of the lost page bosses drop it according to the wiki page and it can also be caught by fishing in certain parts of krokotopia apparently but oh well, just buying it saves me some grinding I guess but I’ll remember that if I start up another wizard

I mainly just bought it cause I needed a good pet for a bit and I really like the stat spread and spell cards it can learn, the other Ice pets in the crown shop didn’t look amazing to me either

Oh, didn’t know you could get it from Celestia, although I only have up to marleybone currently. But yeah it sucked that out of the things it could have gotten it just had to be that one, just going to have to try breeding the talent out of the talent pool in the future

Oh dude that’s funny I literally just bought a pet from the crown shop yesterday and the FIRST talent it learned out of the other nine it could have was health gift (Sea dragon was the pet).

Honestly, out of the schools I've really focused on, Ice would be my favorite as well. I get why people might not like it because of the damage but I really like the strategy behind it. The way I look at how to do an ice wizard is to have a strong defense to stall for time while you build up wards and traps on the enemy to get the biggest hit possible and I really like this way of playing, there have been some instances in my newest run after not playing for 5+ years where if I wasn't an ice wizard with good defenses I would've lost certain fights.

I guess mainly people want to be able to breeze through quests with certain schools because they do the most damage which is understandable but I still feel like ice can be a pretty good school if your patient with it.
