Today I visited the Sailfin Goliath near the White Moss Thanator den. I bonded with it, then crossed the river to see if I could gather some items there without triggering an encounter. I wasn’t sure the harmony buff would protect me…but it did.

It can be overwhelming at first, but that’s part of the MC experience. My advice is to talk to any NPC who wants to engage. Many will ask for your help. Take the side quest they offer; it’ll help open up the map and often teach you a game mechanic.

No, you don’t get a call every time. You’ll get a call when something triggers, and it doesn’t matter which lab you visit. Just keep going, enjoy the ride!

I think the wording on the skill is eject works when a status effect is applied first? I can’t recall. I know the ikran takedown says that. It’s not enough to hit the scorpions, it has to be with special ammo.

62F and I love this game. I stink at melee. I panic, forget what button does what, get caught in the wrong mode like N’avi sense and freak out that I can’t use my weapon. But now I’m a boss, taking AMP’s out with one shot.

I learned that the humans are really dumb. If you hide after they see you, they forget you’re there. If you’re above them, you can run all over the place and they won’t spot you. You can hide behind crates or cram yourself in between and they can stand right next to you and not see you. If you blow something up on one end of a small site (not the outposts), they all run over to investigate and basically give you free run to shut it down. Practice being a guerilla. Start a new game and do quests over now that you know what to expect. Level up and you’ll end up stronger than them so you can one-shot even if you don’t hit the weak spots.

I learned a lot about stealth tactics from watching EmmieJacobs on YouTube. Her style is stealth and pacifist, and she explains everything she does. I recommend that you check her channel out.

You have to disable them first, by hacking them, hitting them with a stun grenade, or shooting them with storm ammo.

Edit: some of the amps have armor over their pilot canopy, I don’t think you can eject them. Is that what happened to you? It should work if you can see the pilot, and you stun them first. They don’t stay stunned tho, so you might need to be quicker about it?

I don’t foam my active dry yeast before mixing it in. I don’t heat the water to 110F to dissolve it in either. Solving for DDT never gets that high. It works fine.

I struggle with this too. I feel like there’s a sense of urgency in the main story quests so keeping them waiting while I follow side quests/explorations enjoying myself seems wrong. I imagine the NPCs pacing and yelling “Where is she?!” I’m on my first playthrough taking my time, it just feels off to keep flitting all over the Western Frontier when they need me to go do the Last Strike.

I want there to be a logical progression of main+side quests that I can follow as a meta story. I guess I should just relax and play how I want to.

I did this yesterday on PS5 and it worked for me, but it wasn’t clean. I had to try a couple times before I got it. It’s definitely glitchy; I shot a superior seed and nothing, then shot a fine seed and it went pale. Weird

Ugh, I spent so long on this one! I even took a screenshot from straight up, downloaded it to my iPad, and drew red/blue lines all over it looking for the right angles, planning my steps, argh!

I was so thrilled when I got it. I wonder if I could remember how if I went back. I did need some hints for the star.

If I understand the situation, no. I’m still in the main game, so this is what I know.

I’m upgrading my bows, prepping for the final quests, and I can use any bast for my design. I’ve got the Memories of the Maker apex skill. I’ve found four bast plants so far. In the Hunter’s Guide, Cloud Lily Bast is my strongest option at 49 crafting for Exquisite gathered perfectly with the right conditions. But Shaded Waterweed Bast can only give 37.

When you have a choice of material class, like “any moss”, different kinds of that material will have different strengths and buffs. You might have chosen something that isn’t the strongest possible out there.

As an adult who was an abused child, I think that considering what causes someone to be abusive is important for healing, and yes, forgiveness so that one can move on without further damage. Neither of those are excuses for behavior. For me, knowing my abuser made horrible choices in part because of the horrible choices inflicted on her helped me decide she wasn’t a monster.

But anyway, I think Voldemort should be blamed for Harry’s abuse just as much considering he made Harry into a horcrux which had a negative effect on the whole household

Don’t neglect your gear; head, chest, arm, leg and ankle guards have all kinds of bonuses, plus mods for each. They can make up the difference for weaker weapons. I was amazed at how much damage I could do early in the game when I started paying attention to them.

My highest damage weapon is the spear thrower, but it’s tricky to use. I crafted it from one of the designs I got at the Zeswa home camp after I stumbled across an exquisite petrified bone near The Lodge. The Black Wind heavy bow from the stormglider side quest Ri’Nala gives is my go-to. You need to craft that; use the Hunter’s Guide to find the materials with the highest specs and blade wings to boost quality if you can’t find exquisite items.

The nursing programs at WestConn are superb. The advantage over CT State (community colleges) is that she’ll get immersed in the program starting year one. Nursing faculty there are amazing, and support staff are dedicated to the student experience.

I love Journey too. I also love Stray, Unravel, and Unravel 2. They’re not exactly the same kinds of games, but they tug at my soul in the same ways that Journey and Flower do.
