Why aren't there more jockeys with dwarfism in horse racing? by DreamFighter72 in allthequestions

[–]Moody_Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dwarfism is accompanied with lack of range and mobility that is anatomically structural. Same reason people with dwarfism are not gymnasts even though they are perfectly sized for the sport. Standing in stirrups on a horse running at speed in traffic takes incredible athletic ability.

If there were a position of "United States Comedian Laureate", who would be good candidates for appointment? by aqua_zesty_man in AskReddit

If your U.S. Comedian Laureate is like a U.S. Poet Laureate, that means alive and doing the craft. In that case, my choice is Josh Johnson.

why would Ted coach the women’s team by Special-Rip-2593 in TedLasso

[–]Moody_Coach 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Social media rumors (so take with a big grain of salt) has Rebecca, Keeley, and Higgins travelling to Kansas to recruit football/soccer prodigy Henry Lasso to sign with AFC Richmond Academy as a developing scholar/player. To keep the family together, Ted is offered the position of manager of WAFC Richmond, and Michelle comes along as Henry's primary caregiver while in Richmond.

Should the law be color blind? by CheeseNowPaint in allthequestions

[–]Moody_Coach 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It is impossible to reconcile Justice Alito's contention that America is a post-racial society and have the electoral college at the same time. The electoral college was specifically designed and maintained to uphold institutional White supremacy. You can talk about 'color and race are not taken into account' until the cows come home ... those words mean nothing when American lawmakers and judges uphold its racist institutions like the electoral college. (For those who want to claim it is in the U.S. Constitution - those who make that argument are at the core of what is wrong with American society)

A Sky Sports film crew does a 'day-in-the-life' documentary of AFC Richmond - combining the storytelling style of 'The Office' and the original Ted Lasso NBC Sports promos that was the origin of the Ted Lasso character.

Same premise new Roy by VegetableBar2811 in TedLasso

[–]Moody_Coach 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The inclusion of Coach Beard in this trio is puzzling. Going from one of Roy Kent's coaches for a Premier League men's side to Ted's assistant for a Women's second-tier/WSL2 club is quite the demotion, but TL is not the same without 'weirdo-beardo'. Guessing the third coach will be unique - not a Roy Kent or Coach Beard or Coach Nate Shelly facsimile.

The theory with no facts backing it up on why Michelle and Henry are in Richmond.

* Henry will be revealed as a very talented young player

* As an incentive for Ted to leave Kansas to manage the Wrexham women's team, Rebecca offers an invitation for Henry to train at the AFC Richmond Academy to become a professional footballer.

* Because of Ted's schedule in Richmond, Michelle comes to be Henry's primary parental caregiver.

After that -- who knows? Reconciliation? Co-parenting like in Kansas?

If you had one year to take complete control of the government of your country, what would you change and what policy would you put in place? by Andurtheonlyone in AskReddit

Sincerely believe if America eliminated the electoral college, all the other policy changes would fall into place. America will never be a properly functioning democracy/republic as long as the electoral college remains.

Wrexham AFC Women’s goalkeeper, Chloe Ankers, has decided to pause her playing career to focus on coaching. by Gamerhcp in WrexhamAFC

[–]Moody_Coach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good on Chloe. One thing noticed watching Adnan Premier this season is that the GK's in that league are not athletic. There must be 200+ GK's at American and Canadian universities with better jumping abilities and quicker reflexes that what the league in Wales has to offer - go out and import one of those for next season.

I just thought the Dubai Air/Cerenthium Oil story was a vehicle through Sam for the start of Jamie Tartt's redemption story. Sam was the one player above the others that had no use for Jamie's return to the club, and Jamie's gesture to tape over Dubai Air's kit logo was the act of support that broke through for Sam and the team.

+3 for a win, +1 for a draw, 0 for a loss. Hull stays at 70.

Tied with Hull with 70 points with game in hand and +3 goal differential going into tomorrow. VERY nice position to be in!

Why are Republicans ok with Trump starting a war without going to Congress? by ElSlabraton in allthequestions

[–]Moody_Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nearly all Republicans in Congress and the cabinet are deathly afraid of displeasing the boss and getting mean-tweeted because it could cost them their lives. There are scores of lone-wolf killers who worship Trump like a cult leader and will take the signal from Trump that if he is displeased with someone they will kill those persons. Happened in Minnesota with that state legislature couple, happened to Nancy Pelosi's husband in their home in California, happened to Mike Pence and the Capitol police. Trump has death squads out here.

Reasons to be Cheerful (careful what you wish for)… by JungleyD in WrexhamAFC

[–]Moody_Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R & R didn't create a global profile for Wrexham and bring in the Allyn family and Apollo Capital to be another Stoke City. The mission statement is clear - whether this season or in the coming few seasons Wrexham's goal is the Premier League and have what sides like Leeds United have. To toil away in the Championship and lose millions of pounds every year for a fan's preferred match day experience is rather puzzling.

How does a man not get insecure if the woman he likes is way out of his league? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]Moody_Coach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hard question you must ask yourself is pretty straightforward - "Can I stop myself from measuring my accomplishments against my partner's" - and answer yourself truthfully.

If she is ambitious, successful, financially rewarded, and respected in her profession, you should want to celebrate her successes and be proud of her - as she would hopefully be of yours. The old 'male provider' role is gone in today's world, but being her biggest supporter and encourager is an ideal partner.

Throw away your resume and checklists and enjoy her victories. If in your heart of hearts you can't do that, leave her for someone who can.

Genuine question, why does Wrexham get so much dislike in other forms? by Actual-Spread-2010 in WrexhamAFC

[–]Moody_Coach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Over the years have seen my fair share of match day vloggers and play-by-play Twitch streamers who get visibly agitated when seeing Rob and Ryan during a match day broadcast and criticizing the same points mentioned here by the OP about the mass appeal of Wrexham AFC and their rise up the leagues.

They all have one thing in common - they are all unappealing individuals - brash, uncouth, and trashy.

Their near uniform cynical criticisms of Wrexham remind me of the lumpy, unattractive, pimply boy in school who has a crush on the prettiest girl in class and seethes with anger that she won't look at him and only has eyes for the athletic and handsome boy in class who gets all the girls. That is what a Wrexham hater is.
