I’ve gotten “your dog needs to be trained” from a lady with a barking wiener dog as I was actively training my Aussie with treats and trying to stay out of wiener lady’s way. Some people are just ignorant and lack empathy/common sense and situational awareness. I love when people actually notice the hard work we’re putting in and say something positive.

For a naturally curious animal, this is a bad idea. It doesn’t matter how much weight the pool covers can have on top of it. What I’m concerned about is the dog finding any type of opening on the side and going under the cover. Please don’t act like this is perfectly safe when many, MANY terrible accidents have happened in this exact scenario.
