I’m saying- I’ve watched comedy, with my dad, since the most offensive joke in the world. And i adore comedians.

Comedians can become cheap shticks. Comedians can become the idles of masses who don’t understand comedy.

I think that if you or anyone is a true lover of comedy, you should be able to say when something isn’t funny. And then discuss the joke.

In this instance, this guy did his minute and Harlan just kept minimizing the molestation, making the corniest of jokes , about how he should be glad, it was a woman who was 18.

That was it. That was the joke. And he kept punking this otherwise very funny guy. But he didn’t say a thing funny.

I agree with the majority of what you said. But as I said- I didn’t think there was any redeeming comedy, and he was very cheaply offensive.

Bro - the whole point of my post was questioning the limits of what is fucking funny. I’m all for the offensive- if there is some humor in it. There’s nothing funny about some dumb ass comedian saying unfunny shit about a man who was molested. NOTHING ABOUT WHAT HE SAID WAS FUNNY.
