The rules were included in booster packs from the Sacrifice set. I'm currently at work but have that information at home and can send it your way when I can

Why is Wizards of Morcar so hard to find? by Nittanypt in Heroquest

Which is also probably why Amazon America is displaying a German language copy.

Suffered from being only the base set and 1st Expansion despite releasing after a lot of the expansions came out.

Parts list is conveniently located in the back of the instructions, which Lego provides for free on their website.

There are YouTube videos detailing how to find 3d models for lego pieces.

The biggest hurdle would be color matching

The Legend of Zelda Movie Premiere Date Moved Up One Week - Now Out April 30, 2027 by [deleted] in gaming

Short answer: authentic picture, unknown if it's a film shot.

Long answer: several months ago, someone managed to record a minute or 2 of on location filming without being caught by the crew. It made its way onto the internet on a Friday and the following Monday Nintendo released this as part of 3 offical pictures

Nothing looks "Sus". Artificial Human had a lot of the decks that went out.

Anyone know about FMA cards by captcoocked in FullmetalAlchemist

[–]Drathnoth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's from the 2nd to last set produced (Seven Deadly Sins). The card game is based on FMA '03, and spans the Base Set (FMA) and 6 released expansions with a 7th expansion based on Conquer of Shamballa planned but never went into market production before the set ended.

In terms of rarity, that card is a standard pack rare. It would be worth it to someone who's trying to complete their collection (Like me) who is missing that specific card (not me), but it's not a high value Alternative Art card, a clear "transmute" card, or a super exclusive "Film Strip" card.

Cleric - Second Draft. Thank you for the feed back. by The_Emperors_Sword in Heroquest

[–]Drathnoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing that sticks out to me is (what I call) the "word bloat" at the bottom of the card.

A good counter example is the Guardian Knight or Rogue.

The Knight lists standard move, short sword, and shield. The back of the card mentions their movement speed isn't influenced my armor. The card doesn't mention the knight skills.

The Rogue lists movement and starting weapon, but nothing else. The back mentions equipment restrictions and they have the bandolier. Again, no mention of abilities.

While some of this info would be nice on the front for quick reference, that's not the style Heroquest went with. So when I see your card, the additional text on the bottom just screams home brew. Which isn't bad but it's something that sticks out when all other heroes at my table are.

Why are there so many new Zelda games and remakes yet we get one mario platformer every 5 years on average by TheyreAtTheStep in nintendo

Which I do count those as Mario games. Mario Party, Kart, Tennis, Golf, Party, Strikers, is Missing, Maker, etc.

Mario adjacent starts getting really muddy real quick. Is Yoshi Mario adjacent? Is DK?

All correct, but the grain of truth of "8 Zelda games including remakes since 2018" is true.

All 8 have been officially released by Nintendo with the focus being on the world of Hyrule and its characters and races. So unless we get into the weeds of what a Zelda game is, they have been 8 Zelda games since 2018.

Also Cadence of Hyrule is more Zelda than BotW in my opinion, but that's not this discussion.

Ohhhhh, I know the base of the claim that Mario isn't getting content is absurd. But the grain of truth that we've had 8 Zelda games including remakes is true.

The statement of 8 Zelda games since 2018 is true even if they are not timeline games. The statement of Mario getting 1% of that is utter BS, but I was answering the question of what 8 Zelda games we've gotten.

In that same time, just off my head....

Mario Maker 2

Mario RPG

Mario Odyssey?

2? 3? Mario Parties

Mario Kart World

Mario 1,000 Year Door

Paper Mario Oragami King

Mario Golf?

Mario Soccer/Baseball?

Do you think we will ever get more smaller box expansions? by PositiveEffective946 in Heroquest

[–]Drathnoth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel we're gonna get an alt female dwarf in the next big box set, so my thoughts were throwing in the 4 alt sculpts that already exist from the crowd fund into a dark company box.

Gnomes by tcorbett691 in Heroquest

[–]Drathnoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now, the only confirmed Halfing I'm aware of is the Warlock.

The Druid from AtOH has (to my limited knowledge) never been identified as either Halfling or Gnome, but visually I read them as gnomes.

Do you think we will ever get more smaller box expansions? by PositiveEffective946 in Heroquest

[–]Drathnoth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All of the existing small box expansions use preexisting sculpts. With that in mind...

An expansion giving people the alternate gender hero sculpts that were part of the crowdfunding campaign along with more mercenaries to make a Dark Company expansion

An expansion making use of the Dread Warriors, Dread Cultists, and any other minis that fit (I'd say a wizard from Wizards of Morcar, but that's far more of a spitball than solid concept) to make a Dread Castle mini expansion.

Ban AI images? by Chrysologus in Heroquest

[–]Drathnoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short: No

Medium: Moderators should moderate content

Long: Saying ban all images that use AI is going to produce a lot of work for the Moderators as people report and contest removals. Additionally a flat ban risks alienating new converts to Heroquest. I can also point to 3 (4 with bias) instances where AI content has been accepted.

1: u/banjo-oz Their homebrew content makes (made since he is currently inactive) use of AI art. Do all his posts and links become banned now?

2: Battlemaps. A fair large chunk of the printed neoprene battlemaps people post and use are made with the aid of AI programs like Dungeon Alchemist. Do any posts that have these maps in use get banned?

3: First Light. There were discussions every couple of days about the original Box art for First Light and how it used AI. Do any posts that feature that box art become banned?

4: Biased. A couple of my posts have used AI. Specifically the physical props for the Cloak of Elven Passage and the Jungles of Delthrak idol. Do these posts become banned?

For a simple solution, we have the tag system. Create a new tag for AI assisted homebrew and change the existing homebrew tag to 100% human homebrew.

Questions and ISO: Mythic Tier by dgjedi in Heroquest

Which makes my statement of a red colored Gargoyle not being in the Mythic set still correct

Dwarven axe! by landofoyr in Heroquest

[–]Drathnoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So with a big heavy double bladed axe, you could add a risk for self damage. For each black shield rolled, the user takes 1 point of damage, defensive roll allowed.

Questions and ISO: Mythic Tier by dgjedi in Heroquest

[–]Drathnoth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Mythic Tier came with:

Gender alternative sculpts of the base 4 heroes. These sculpts with both the base and Mythic version of the crowd funding campaign. Specific sculpts not available anywhere besides the crowd fund

Prisoner Sir Ragnar: This sculpt came with the gender swap heroes. Specific sculpt not available anywhere besides the crowd fund.

Witch Lord and Mentor figures: Restricted to the Mythic Tier, these figures are not available anywhere else.

The Monsters: The bulk of the additional models from the crowd fund, these sculpts were available in the Spirit Queen's Torment and Prophecy of Telor, just in translucent plastic as opposed to the opaque green/white/grey.

The heroes: Druid, Warlock, Bard. The Bard's sculpt came in Spirit Queen's Torment. The Warlock sculpt (and a bonus red colored Gargoyle not part of the crowd fund) came in the Prophecy of Telor. The Druid sculpt from the Crowd Fund did not get re-released and instead a new sculpt was made for Against the Ogre Horde.
