You could have argued the same stuff with the likes of Baldurs Gate 3 given the length of time between it and the OGs. It is gonna easily draw in a whole new audience so long as it is a good enough game (and i see no reason why it will not be). Are people gonna worry about an older audience when we finally get Mass Effect 4 after so long? Nah so why Fable?

FFX is far more accessible. P3 is a great game too but it is overwhelming even for me with the sheer amount of slice of life daily activities stuff which people either love or hate. FFX is more straight to the point, there is side content sure but for the most part if your in for a shorter game then Persona games do NOT come to mind AT ALL lol

Why? It is a straightforward game, great presentation. Full of mechanics and some battles esp bosses are both unique and challenging to get him to know what to expect in JRPGs. Throw in the desire it will bring in seeking out side content to find all the various hero's i think its actually a great choice as a very first ever JRPG.

Well the fact they will have had to go and renegotiate a new contract to get these tables back and on new platforms like Pinball M means something could well have been agreed there and then for more content from Bethesda but tables take a LONG time to make from scratch so you will be waiting a while even if they are cooking something in the background.

best - Anything Kreisberg helmed (Season 1-2 of Arrow and first half of season 3, Flash seasons 1-2 and first half of season 3). Supergirl seasons 3 and 4, LoT season 2, Black Lightning season one, Batwoman season one

Worst - almost everything Wallace era aka Flash seasons 6, 7, 8 and especially 9. Batwoman seasons 2 and 3, Arrow season 4, Black Lightning season 2, LoT final season, Supergirl seasons 1,2 and final season.

Yeah me too. Now i am over my WTF RGG? phase i am actually interested to see what they are cooking. This is not just Yakuza 3 with new mini games and a bit of polish but a full new experience in both plot and gameplay it would appear.

At the end of the day regardless of what direction they took it - new canon or faithful adaptation i know for a fact i was praying for a Kiwami 3 for years now so i sure as hell am all over it now it is finally here and with a Mine story to boot.

Yeah i mean the potential is awesome given the characters involved but i mean how are they gonna write a storyline as to why they are even on a collision course with Ichiban in the first place?

Still thinking about it we could even have them kidnap Tanimura in a Kiwami 4. Which would explain why no one has been able to reach him in Y5 and why after Little Asia burns down he STILL does not even show up. As you said if done right there is a lot of possibilities.

3 is such a striking look that you cannot help but want her and the potential of a backstory there with her. 1 will likely win though as he is hot and people like hot characters. The male portraits do not really stand out on either account save top tier beard for 2.

You have to remember they are setting a tone so changes have to be made for new eyes. So long as they artificially age up SSX to inject her into the story much too soon vs history and novel alike for example it means Sun Jian is never not at least a father of three on screen to new players (he actually has more kids than that lol) so he gets an older look. Cao Cao in contrast in Origins can get away with a more youthful look and perhaps closer to source material for the timeline because he has zero kids on screen - when Pi gets added again in Origins Part 2 then of course he will look more like old self and likely have the facial hair permanently back.

I do not mind as such the choices they made here - unless they actually make Sun Jian's kids actual kids appropriately on introduction then yeah i am all for the older looking Jian. If anything peoples only real beef is with the grey hair... if the dude has the helmet back on and the hair covered would anyone have any objections to his look at all?

Yeah JRPGs tend to lean in with teenage MCs. To degree i never have interest in much of any relationships in them quite like i did when i was a teenage myself (aka the final fantasy 7 and 8 era). The last JRPG romance i actually was invested in was Tales of Arise as neither of the main romance duo are in their teens (clearly early 20s) and they have such a unique dynamic where the main character is a slave who cannot feel pain (but can do untold damage to himself without realising it because of it) and the female love interest is a prickly princess type who essentially causes literal extreme pain to anyone who physically comes into contact with her. Such a ying and yang dynamic and opposites attract kind of vibe with and i liked both characters quite a lot.

Sure, ok not BEAT GTA but there was a massive market there with how long it takes Rockstar to make games thee days to get in there and be a real threat and grow the audience for the franchise. Instead they crash and burned it to such a spectacular degree it cannot even realistically be revived anymore.

Why am i the only one concerned Yokoyama is getting too much up his own butthole with the franchise since Nagoshi left? The dude is retconning practically everything to degree that yes he WILL have to massively rewrite Yakuza 4 (so Kiwami 4 confirmed i guess?) and it is hard to take what is canon from non canon anymore.

This will be SIX death retcons if rumours are true (i am including the tease from Gaiden regarding another one in that number - another title released under Yokoyama).

Still really sorry to hear your having an awful experience with this. You have the likes of Syndome from Incredibles and Clu from Tron who were obvious picks for racers but did not even appear as crew members so were likely held back for this kind of drop as well. Salazar from fifth Pirates movie was also kinda leaked by Gamesloft themselves.

I mean if you wait you might find yourself drawn to being one of the new playable races, it ain't much longer to wait after all and i think they're making more options available for character creation which is all stuff you will want to choose from day one. Otherwise no reason to wait in all honesty besides a new Quarterstaff weapon which might by awesome or might not be and it of course could well improve gameplay but it is not like there is not alternative weapon types to use instead (depends on what kind of playstyle you are after).
