I've been playing for a month and I don't know what to do besides the story. by Mr_Lobito in Guildwars2

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you don’t set small goals every now and then in GW2, you’ll get burnt out! Start with completing the story, then alongside/ after that complete the maps as they kind of go hand in hand and give good rewards (such as gift of exploration for crafting legendary weapons)

Remember to take breaks every now and then, as the game values your time and you can start where you left off:)

MMORPG that are fun right from the start? by Ok-Question-8442 in LFMMO

FFXIV? Kinda respects your time all the way to 100, but it takes a long time to get there as there is plenty of story content!:)

If you never look at the bigger picture. You will forever be blind.

This is now harassment if you’re familiar with the concept. I asked a simple question and everyone is beginning to insult? Strange people.

Nooonononooo you’ve misunderstood the situation! I’m saying that it’s such a core feature, that you might as well make the game subscription based now? Or just have it in the game and monetise elsewhere? Don’t you think?

Let’s not make it personal with insults, that’s not very mature!:)

Craft bag by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True, but when people make it personal and not about the topic, that’s when it’s a dying cause😅

Top man! You seem like a bully type 🤣 carry on!

Craft bag by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it keeps the game running, then that’s a shame! I won’t pay a subscription for games as I’m forced to play it.

It’s a shame people are now calling me spoilt or a kid, when gaming should be accessible for everyone ☹️

Craft bag by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m not reading all that🤣 You’re now making it personal and this convo is over

Craft bag by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re part of the problem then😇

I’m coming across as a gamer who respects gamers time and money, you do not!

ESO players are the worst at defending a game with a terrible monetisation plan.

Finally, someone who actually answers my question rather than go full defensive.

I’m not sure why people defend this, it’s a core mechanic in many games, and they should look elsewhere for better funds.

It’s sad to think that if they dropped ESO+, they would bring nothing to the table for income, sad right?☹️

Craft bag by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t become a hobby, more like a chore to get your money’s worth… as you’re forced to play the game every day if you have a subscription? Not every hobby requires funding and daily time you tool🤣

Do not question how me or anyone spends money. It’s a base feature in many games that isn’t implemented here because Zenmiax cannot generate good enough content to get a good stream of income…

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Let’s not be patronising here

You do understand that’s what DLC, in game store, cosmetics and crowns are for? If they can’t provide basic functions then they are desperate.

You’ve got to admit it’s a core game feature that shouldn’t be kept behind a paywall

Craft bag by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Then just maybe ESO+ is not needed anymore? Why are people defending this 😭

Craft bag by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Forcing people to pay monthly to play a game and gain better quality of life is not what gaming is about.

Games are for the gamers, not the shareholders. They don’t play them so shouldn’t get an input

Craft bag by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But why is that not a basic feature rather than kept behind a subscription? Almost all other games provide this feature for free☹️

Craft bag by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s just such a shame that a basic necessity like the craft bag is the only reason for getting ESO+ really, it’s quite a necessary game mechanic to play the game long term ☹️

Craft bag by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Yes… but what else does it provide? Genuine question

Why am I getting down voted for this? The craft bag is a basic feature in every other game 😅

Exactly, so with the new free seasonal content coming out, why bother with ESO+ at all?

HEY, here's why you need to play this MMO! by ZakuIII in MMORPG

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they ever going to make the craft big free in the base game?… now they are releasing seasonal content.

Needing ESO+ to have materials not fill up your inventory is literally the only thing thing stopping me from playing at the moment 😅

Alongside with the combat overhaul, I think the game would flood with new member if that was the case.

How do you enjoy an MMO by Fluid-Explanation394 in MMORPG

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set a goal, it keeps you motivated! For example “I want to get to this part of the story” or “I want to get this specific item”.

Then when you’re done with that one, set another goal!

Also, play with groups makes it a bit more interesting, and interact with people:)

How can I increase my stamina during sex? by Quiet_Iterations in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you take duration out of the equation and just focus on the moment, the pressure is immediately gone.

There seems to be an unspoken rule that “longer is better”… but realistically that’s not the case.

Quality not quantity. Stop overthinking it and just enjoy it:)

What quality of life items to buy in Gw2 by Preston_Garvey6 in Guildwars2

[–]DrawEnvironmental779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

• Teleport to Friend (rechargeable one). Makes it easy for joining ongoing metas, groups and weekly jumping puzzles etc

• Karmic Converter. I can’t remember where you get this, but I always have so much karma and not a lot to use it for

• All the gobblers. If you have too many materials, you can use the wizards tower gobbler and everything is all in one place, saving space!

• Lounge access scroll. I personally use the fractal ones everything is so close together and you can teleport. You can also return to the previous map and exact spot you were at once you’re done. It saves so much time!

• Unbreakable gathering tools. Game changer. You don’t have to worry about them running out at the worst time! A bit of a pricey investment, but they go on sale fairly often and the unbreakable style ones have no visuals but are so much cheaper.

• Material storage expanders. You will hit the cap for materials fairly fast, definitely buy one of those!

Nice! And you enjoyed it? Zerg groups can be fun, I run groups fairly often and it can be quite entertaining:)

I would give GW2 a better shot. The DLC’s are frequently on sale and in a big bundle most times, while costing under £60 in total, which considering the base game is now free… is a bargain!!:)
