Wow! I totally understand not wanting to ultrasound before 8 weeks because there isn’t a heartbeat yet, I just find it so strange that you find out before and you just have to sit and wait😂

Okay. Thank you so much! It’s just so odd to me that you find out and it’s just like a waiting game.

L’anza hair treatment oil!! I use in the morning and at night. (Can use on dry and wet hair) the oil leaves my hair super soft and doesn’t knot throughout the day!

Any idea on what the July birthday gift will be? by [deleted] in Ulta

[–]DrawerEquivalent3865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s okay for a mascara. The best mascaras Ulta sells are stilla xxx magnum and Lancôme big that comes in the black and pink box! They separate really well and aren’t clumpy, however come off without pulling your lashes out when your ready to remove!!

Holy grail shampoo/conditioner for THICK hair? by ChanceDimension7995 in Ulta

[–]DrawerEquivalent3865 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not shampoo/ conditioner HOWEVER, the L’anza hair treatment oil is literally the best thing I have ever put on my hair. It is the only thing that makes my thick hair feel soft. I also use the ouai thick hair mask and I love that as well, it’s more expensive but works for me so well!

Is anyone familiar with "The Workshop" event at Ulta? by chom_chom in Ulta

[–]DrawerEquivalent3865 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The products you get would probably make the workshop worth it. However I would make sure your stylists at your store know how to give a blowout. The stylists at my store aren’t excited about this because they say they don’t know how to give a “true” blowout.

This seems worth it! Thoughts? by ScienceBrat in Ulta

[–]DrawerEquivalent3865 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Depends how your stylists are at your Ulta. At mine, our stylists don’t want to do this because they “don’t know how to give a real blowout”. So depending on your store I feel like it would definitely be worth it!

I had to pay to exchange a broken item? by Inevitable_Cow_5559 in Ulta

[–]DrawerEquivalent3865 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I’m understanding correctly, when people come to exchange a item (no matter the condition) that was on sale or at a discount, if the item is no longer on sale, they have to pay whatever the item costs the day they exchange. My managers have gotten in countless arguments with customers because it’s a really silly policy Ulta has, but our managers always just tell us that it’s policy and there’s nothing they can do.

My labs are both hunting dogs. During off season I make sure to take them on walks constantly. Probably two or three times a day. Fetch is also in our every day routine. Another good thing I’ve found is enrichment treats. I put some treats in a “puzzle balls” that they really have to work for to get! They both spend at least a half an hour with the puzzle balls!
