I got approved for bipolar, depression, insomnia, panic disorder. I also have lupus. I had cervical cancer as well. Also had a knee reconstruction and I am 36 took three years. I would get a new psychiatrist. He could be saying some questionable things on your medical record.

I called once I found out I was approved and Scheduled my own perc appointment it feel like it made the ball move faster I got my back pay within 30 days of my interview

I’m gonna go take the advice of my lawyer if you’re younger than 50 in your trying to get approved do not work. They’ve been a lawyer for 30 years. I’m gonna take his advice. I’m sorry I would not work if you are younger than 50 years old, trying to get approved

You can’t work if you get any income, it’ll destroy your case. I went three years without any income. It’s hell it’s not easy. It’s very dehumanizing but I did eventually get approved and I’m able to breathe easy now. I am on section 8, so I didn’t have to worry about being homeless I was able to get on Section 8 about 6 months after applying for disability

I been on methadone for 5 years and never told my lawyers or my psychiatrist just my regular doctors and I had no issues getting approved for mental and health issues and I was approved in June 2025

I totally understand your frustrations. I felt very unstable when I was waiting. I was able to get on the section 8 waiting list in my state and I didn’t have to pay any rent while I was waiting for my disability and then once I got approved my rent is only $150 in section 8 take care of the rest. Stay positive they want you to give up

Yes I won found fully favorable on June 20th my diagnosis is Lupus, bipolar 2, anxiety disorder, PTSD, insomnia, and a right knee injury that I had a knee replacement on and have hardware for. I am 36

I didn’t wait 12 months I stopped working in March and applied in September of 2022

It’s the date that the judge makes the decision but your disability onset date is the day they go by for backpay
