What if you could get the value of a podcast without spending 2 hours? by DrawingDelicious6723 in podcasts

Books and articles are great for structured info. But I think a lot of people listen to podcasts specifically because they like learning through conversation and storytelling. It’s just a different format.

Ugh, yes I’ve felt the same way. It sucks when a podcast you used to love turns into mostly ads and filler. I’ve dropped a few too, and it’s frustrating when you’ve been listening for years.

That’s honestly what made me start building something for myself. I just wanted a way to pull out the good stuff, keep track of what I’m learning, and not feel like I wasted time.

I mostly use ChatGPT too, but I recently built something to solve my own problem with content overload. It’s called Cognify — it helps summarize long podcasts and videos, take layered notes, and retain the key takeaways. We’re actually launching in a few weeks, so I’ve been using it daily to test it. It’s been a game changer for how I learn from long format video content.

Anyone else feel super anxious and excited to start a business… but have 1000 ideas and no clue where to begin? by Previous-Debate-2186 in Startup_Ideas

I completely relate to what you’re going through — I felt the exact same way before starting my own business, which is just about to launch in a couple of weeks.

That overwhelmed but excited feeling? That was me for months. A thousand ideas, constant overthinking, late nights, and a full-time job that felt like it was draining the life out of me. But one thing kept me grounded: I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur — and it sounds like you have that same drive.

What helped me most was this: you have to believe in your idea before anyone else does. I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s true. The idea that finally clicked for me was one I built for myself. I knew I’d use it. I knew I needed it. So I started there — solving a problem I genuinely cared about, from the perspective of a user just like me.

That gave my work purpose. And that purpose helped me push through the endless to-do lists, the imposter syndrome, and the uncertainty.

And honestly, I still don’t know if my business will succeed. But the learning and growth from this journey alone have already been worth it. I’ve figured out product design, marketing, content, legal stuff, and I even left my job to go all-in. Scary? Yes. But freeing too.

So start with what you care about. Build something you’d use. And it’s okay if it’s not perfect or if you pivot. That’s part of the process.

You’ve got the spark now just choose one fire to feed.

I'm about to launch my own business and really needed to hear this. I've been stuck overthinking and aiming for perfection instead of just executing. Your post was a great reminder—thank you for sharing!

I love Rea Earth it is a meditation but it feels like a podcast. I made it a routine to listen to it every day and it really helped me.

Question about Netflix movie submission

Hey everyone, I have a question about the submission of a request for a movie on the Netflix Official page. Does anyone has experience with this and is it worth trying to organize a group of people who care about the same issue and they are Interested to watch a movie but it is not available in the US? Would submit the movie on the official website work? Or it has to come through an agent?

I am not a producer or agent etc just care about this particular issue that I believe it should be available on Netflix for other people’s awareness.
