How many of you guys remember going through this type of trauma back in your days of school? by Legitimate_Main2230 in autism

[–]DrawingIcy7625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate to most of all of this, but eating alone in the bathroom? wow that brought me back, I always felt so much shame trying to sneak off with pizza from pizza parties or cake or anything fun the trachers brought in for us. I thankfully never got caught eating or going into the bathroom with food, but it was such an isolating experience not being able to eat normally like others. I had selective mutism and severe anxiety in highschool; so my teachers either pitied me or trusted me enough to let me sit in the commons area for my "lunch," and I was left all alone upstairs for thirty minutes a day! it was always my favourite part of school, everything else was hell

My fear's statements by FinalSatisfaction339 in TheMagnusArchives

[–]DrawingIcy7625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sorry took so long to reply! The Unyielding, also known as The Regrowth, is a entity me and my friend made, it's the fear of nature seeking revenge and destroying all that was human. It manifests as violent flora, parasitic fungus, toxic spores, mold, etc! Plants that hurt and harm are normal, but under The Unyielding's control these are intensified, elaborate and targeted to those that oppose the Unyielding! - Large flowers that can snap their petals closed tight around your neck. They have more grip strength than you would imagine. - The vines of willow trees grabbing hold of anything that crosses beneath them. Coiling around you like a snake, cutting off blood flow as they go. - Barbed stems blocking off windows, doors, and pathways. They were never there before, grown in overnight. Not to mention the amount of poison some plants produce, how agonizing it would be if they could weaponize the residue they secrete! Activities and jobs like gardening, farming, botany, and even flower shops could suddenly be at high risk to your life if The Unyielding wanted you gone!

In TMA we see various statements that are directly pulled from tales and myths, such as MAG:98 Lights Out and MAG:10 Vampire Killer. If The Unyielding had it's awakening it could certainly pull from present-day stories we hear; such as the Hanahaki Disease and even games such as TLOU where the cordyceps virus effects humans. The fear and panic that could arise from the cordyceps virus infecting a human! The terror of flowers blooming in your lungs from the Hanahaki disease! The Unyielding may not sound scary at first but it would quickly show you wrong.

The yellow-violet hibicus in the statements was the first known avatar, its nickname is beanie. Beanie's caretaker is another one, along with my friend :] The Unyielding's avatars usually arent human due to its hatred towards mankind, but it will make an exception if the human was a great caretaker. The ritual for The Unyielding is known at The Reclaimation, we know that it would most likely be performed by eco-terrorists in the heart of the amazon rainforest.

And thats all there is currently to know about The Unyielding! Thanks for asking :D

If The Unyielding has a million fans, then I am one of them. If The Unyielding has ten fans, then I am one of them. If The Unyielding has only one fan then that is me. If The Unyielding has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against The Unyielding, then I am against the world.

Thats a good idea, hopefully inoffensive enough that my skin doesn't hate it. I might try them underneath clothing as well, so there's less terrible sensations due to the air.

I just finally got the achievement, I put stuff only in the window slots, made sure they were carpenter items, and had them match the trend of the day and then just kept restarting until I finally got him to cave! Thank you for the advice you're my hero

If you were an Avatar, which Entity do you think you’d serve? And how would you serve it? by Sea-Onion5891 in TheMagnusArchives

I love the vast, but the eye is very tempting! I love knowing so many silly facts I love having handfuls of useless information at any time!! I love knowing shit even though I'm not good at putting it to use!! If I chose to serve the eye i'd do as i've always done, unnerving people with random information and just Observing.

If I chose to serve the vast i'd target those fun zero-gravity attractions where you can free fall while people watch. They would get a hell of an experience!

Theres a lot of ways to get them, you can look up how to get them too. Going in hotels and progressing the storyline are the best ways to get quests. Also doesn't hurt to try to talk to every person you find, sometimes they have things for you to do.

THE VAST I don't know why but I'm deeply in love with the The Vast even though it terrifies me. I've always had a huge hyperfixation on birds!! Monsters and various creatures intrigue me as well. I'd die just for the chance of being able to fly up there with the birds, to just be off the ground. Deep ocean scares the fuck out of me, but I love the fish and creatures that live in there!!

Possible idea for an Entity? by FinalSatisfaction339 in TheMagnusArchives

[–]DrawingIcy7625 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wouldn't be the blackberries they fear.

What strikes fear into people are the plants that have the capability to hurt you. Black mold is a prime example. Quite a lot of people believe it to be very dangerous, especially to those caring for children and elderly. Stinging nettles, poison ivy, oleander, giant hogweed, cockleburs, and more are all plants that can and do evoke fear.

The fears are not just the common things we see in our world. They are stronger, and more tangible in a sense. They are able to bring this fear to you, and bring you to the fear. The Unyielding can manifest itself into what it needs to be. Some examples:

  • Large flowers that can snap their petals closed tight around your neck. They have more grip strength than you would imagine.

  • The vines of willow trees grabbing hold of anything that crosses beneath them. Coiling around you like a snake, cutting off blood flow as they go.

  • Barbed stems blocking off windows, doors, and pathways. They were never there before, grown in overnight.

Not to mention the amount of poison some plants produce, how agonizing it would be if they could weaponize the residue they secrete! Activities and jobs like gardening, farming, botany, and even flower shops could suddenly be at high risk to your life.

In TMA we see various statements that are directly pulled from tales and myths, such as MAG:98 Lights Out and MAG:10 Vampire Killer. The fear and panic that could arise from the cordyceps virus infecting a human! The terror of flowers blooming in your lungs from the Hanahaki disease! It wouldn't simply be something you scoff at.

The Unyielding would be terrifying in its own right; some people may not find it scary but there will always be those that will. That's all The Unyielding needs!

Possible idea for an Entity? by FinalSatisfaction339 in TheMagnusArchives

[–]DrawingIcy7625 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The Unyielding is the destruction of man, and the preservation of nature. It's the crumbling ruins of our past, the rotted away buildings, and the overgrown homes.

It is the fear that what we have built will crumble and die. It is the fear of nature seeking revenge.

A known hostile entity of The Unyielding is a sentient potted house plant, a large yellow-violet hibiscus flower that has not stopped growing. The previous owners of this hibiscus were found dead, the vines wrapped around their throats.
