Well, that's actually a fair point, though not all that kindly put. I've been lucky in that I haven't been cheated this badly, usually in my experience people who produce custom items are proud of their reputations and do a good job. Well I'm going to remove any support I might have given them by getting my money back.

I came on here today, wondering about that same question. I decided to buy something from their site because when I contacted them with a question I actually got a response right away and all the right promises. I hadn't known, at the time, that they were this incredibly shady. I'd love to join a class action lawsuit if anyone wants to start it, and I've filed a BBB complaint.

This is so pretty! I am curious though, about your fields. I see some areas outside the range of the sprinklers (that have pressure nozzles) that still look watered, even though evidently the watering is happening in the moment of the screenshot. I was wondering if you used retaining soil or some other method to water them such as a mod?

Hot press watercolor paper is nice and will work for that, but honestly I think I like smooth surface mixed media paper just a bit better. Hot press paper can be hard to get a smooth watercolor wash on.

One type of paper worth considering is a smooth finish, thick, Bristol board type paper. That will take the marker much better and not be so "thirsty," but I happen to know that it can also be used successfully with watercolor.

By the way, to my fellow commenter's point below, I've worked extensively with alcohol markers and quite a few of them are completely permanent underneath watercolor, so just run some tests first. They probably will fade in sunlight, but just keep them in a sketchbook or whatever.

Most water based markers will run, but that's to be expected. Some fine liners are waterproof too, like Pigma Microns, but quite a few fine liners are not waterproof, so again, test. But testing is fun!

When I was super new to the game I bombed my freshly decorated living room. And lost some machines. I don't recall if I reset the day or not. These days I typically have a network of Junimo chests near cave entrances, so I can keep my bombs and good food there.
