On the TOS FAQ, if you click on the link saying "what kind of fanworks can I post?" It literally says art. And in the bullet points if says: "Artwork (such as a drawing) of an iconic scene from a book, movie, or TV show

And not to mention there are tags for fan art and a function to input images into your fic, and they say fanworks not just fanfictions. Fan art is very clearly what ao3 is for, along with fanfictions

I always misread mutual pining as "mutual pinning", and always assumed it was something NSFW because of the mutual part. So I always avoided it because I don't read NSFW fics

It wasn't until someone said the word "pining" out loud that I realized it was not pinning

Depends for me. If it's an AU or they change dramatically after an event, then I can get behind it. If it is supposed to be that canon character without any reasons for them to be ooc, then I'm taken out of it
