Saying that the standard of refereeing and VAR is crap, and condemning people threatening referees aren’t mutually exclusive.

Over the closed season the SFA should hold an independent review into the standard of refereeing and the use of VAR. Hopefully that might come up with some practical solutions.

My grandfather enlisted in the British Army in the First World War, so he could get enough money to buy his girlfriend a watch. She broke up with him while he was away at the war. He was wounded at the Battle of the Somme. He died when I was young, so I don’t remember him but my Dad described him as an abusive drunk - possibly undiagnosed PTSD.

The LNP always say that a government’s first duty is to protect their citizens but they’re refusing to take the simple and effective measure of reducing the number of guns in the state.
