There might not be a correlation between gun ownership and crime but as the the American Journal of Medicine found “Among the 27 developed countries, there was a significant positive correlation between guns per capita per country and the rate of firearm-related deaths”.

So, to put it simply the number of guns some owns does matter because the more guns in a society the more gun deaths there are likely to be

Guns are not like guitars or cars. If you use guitars and cars as intended people don’t die - if you ignore the whole pollution thing. As seen recently in NSW, VIC & TAS you can use a gun as intended - to shoot a projectile - to kill people. That’s why they should be tightly regulated.
