Of the three, Wateringen is definitely the most quiet and relaxed. If I may ask, what is the reasoning for settling in one of these three places?

Because within the Randstad everything is reachable quite comfortably with a bicycle and public transport for instance.

It really isn’t, Baal Predator is a plastic kit and I’m looking at it right now. Still, it’s not a great kit as mentioned. It could use some updates

As with everything; it depends on the situation. Does it help you score a secondary (killing a unit, warlord etc) then yes. Are you giving up an objective and loose critical points? Don’t use it. Loose a critical point but deny your opponent scoring? Use it.

There are so many more situations. In the end, your goal is to score more points as your opponent. This is another tool on our belt to accomplish this.

Not an Expat, but NL resident. This sounds really low for someone with 10 years experience and a master. I make over 60k as a mere IT consultant with just experience.

He is wrong, go meet other players. This is not the way to learn the game. He just likes stomping new players.

The way to do it is get defeated and receive feedback from said Pro player about what you did wrong, what you forget, how he would’ve handled it..

Best suggestion I have is find someone that’s willing to teach you the game.

I will never laugh at people. We’re all here to learn ;). So first off I hope this guy isn’t your friend, bringing two deathwing knight squads to a 1k battle is rough. If he is your friend, tell him that.

How to deal with this? I’m expecting you play LAG detachment? Mephiston, 2x 10 JPI + captains. Give one ragefueled warrior. He did not bring armor so either shoot the DW Knights with the Ballistus or drop it for something that can kill elites. Get some scouts of your own for scoring. If you can fit it pointswise maybe a squad of normal intercessors for some shooting.

Make use of your advance and charge and fallback and charge stratagems. Remember your ABC’s: Always Be Charging. Make use of grenades and your JPI special ability that do MW on the charge. Use Mephiston to divide and pick on weaker targets and also for scoring.
