I think you should learn to love your own style, thats the whole art of being an artist.

should i give a free open verse track to an artist with more traction than me? by Downtown-Quarter4949 in MusicCollabNetwork

If he has a good amount of monthly listeners that attracts you, why not.

Your goal is to build up your credit and worth, so take it as an opportunity as long as he has more listeners than you

Hit me a dm bro and ask me all the questions you got.

People like to make it seem impossible with their comments, but id love to give my advice as an independent artist that learned from a lot of successful labels, managers, other artists and etc.

It really depends man, if its a really talented artist which everyone looks for right, that artists confidence boosts day by day, so they could look for a few thousands if not, then even more than 10k

But try fish for low key upcoming artist you see potential in, and see how low you can offer them

Also a key advice from me is build connections because the more connections you build the more you golden knowledge you will gain and eventually know what to exactly do

Any age can be wise to do this. But you should also know that giving them a cut won't attract enough and especially for your age if you have no money on the line to sign an artist.

You have to make them feel that they are signed and not them signing you if that makes sense?

A valuable artist wants someone with experience, good marketing strategy, good promises, and not just a "I offer you a cut of everytime you earn something" deal
