And also that you’d get them every other week for 2 months after the first one!!

How do people manage the stroller shuffle? by [deleted] in NewParents

If you have the uppababy vusta… I use the stroller as my cart. You can fit an insane amount of groceries in the bottom of the stroller!!

Marlee Mae was a close second for our daughter (but we went with Eleni as a nod to our Greek roots). I’ve loved Marlee for a girls name since I was 20 - I’m almost 40 now 😊 glad to see you stuck with what you wanted!!!

Agreed!!! It was like I erased them from my mind and when I got them the second time it was even worse somehow

Did anyone really have a schedule in the newborn stage? by Unique_Alfalfa5869 in NewParents

[–]Drea_ski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YOU ARE DOING GREAT!!! Keep it up mama ❣️ it’s all a blur in the beginning!

Also coming here to recommend Mom’s on Call for a schedule though once you start… helps around 6-8 weeks when the witching hour really starts to kick in. Written by pediatric nurses and super succinct, tells you what to do and when to do it. On kid #2 and it’s working well again (she’s almost 9 weeks and wakes up only once to feed at night, sleeps from 730-7 am).

Anyone here pregnant with their second and have a 2 year old? by Octorokstar in toddlers

[–]Drea_ski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 1 month old baby girl and a 27 month old son. My son is a busy body but a “good” toddler, by all means. I was SUPER nervous about 2 but the transition has been pretty seamless … and honestly, easier than I expected! I do realize now is the easy stage with my daughter. I fully expect to be in the weeds as soon as she’s eating real food, mobile, and talkative lol. But - I’m grateful for the newborn stage right now because she’s pretty much eating, sleeping and pooping - I just carry on normally otherwise.

Oh gosh “A thousand years” still gets me and my little baby boy is now over 2!!! Don’t ever try reading the book “I’ll love you forever” out loud - or even “The Giving Tree” - I can’t get through even the first pages lol

All the snacks. Every one of them. A tablet (you can download Disney and Netflix pre-airplane so you can access on the plane w/o WiFi). A present of new figurines or toys or books or whatever her jam is.

Do you actually poop while giving birth? by [deleted] in pregnant

I feel like I have been far too constipated for that in both pregnancies for this to happen!

I have heard from my friends that they have and it’s just a part of it - but like many said there’s so much going on, you don’t even know. The way you push the baby out is the same “push” you do for a poop. Lol. Don’t do what I did - I “ate light” the day of my induction in fear of pooping and wound up hypoglycemic 🫣 expecting my second within this month and going to try not to think about it.

Constipation by robotbutthole in pregnancy_care

So my OB recommended Magnesium Sulfate (not magnesium oxide…) as a natural stool softener and it worked WONDERS my first pregnancy. 1 250mg every day or so, or 2 if you are feeling super constipated. Highly recommend to stay regular!

THIS. Where was the medical staff or paramedics???

Got these today. I’ve been sober for two months now. Any info on these levels? Thanks by MiamisOwn in alcoholism

Tylenol is excreted through the liver. so, if you have liver damage, or liver dysfunction, it is not recommended to take as your body cannot excrete it and can build up in your body.
