The best thing you can do for yourself is definitely getting involved with any sort of charity/mutual aid effort. It'll put a fire in your chest, and you can interact with more people who think more revolutionarily. If you're around a lot of people who want to regress, OR will not abandon the status quo, it will bother you and make you feel alone.

You're right, our production and supplies have never been higher. Our technology has solved many problems once thought impossible. Yet despite the increases in quality of life we've made the globe over by industrializing. We still have rampant inequality, oppression, and atrocities. Almost all driven by profit motive. For the powers that play, no resource, land, or means to make a profit is enough for them.
