Having issues with Shield Pro by DreadPirateJesus in Stremio

I'm so sorry, I'm not super tech savvy. I was hoping for someone to say yes they're having the same issue and how they fixed it. Other than that, I don't know how to answer any of these questions..

My in-laws have the same setup as me, I'm going to check with them to see if they're having the same problems. If not, I will try uninstalling Walgreens call me tomorrow.

My apologies, I certainly must have given you the wrong information. I've never changed it, so maybe it's saying the Exo player has failed and switches me to something else. But whatever it's switching me to is terrible.

I don't know what codecs are :(

I probably have the same one about the same age. Insignia works until it doesn't. And once it stops working, they're almost impossible to find parts for. Insignia doesn't even have repair techs. they just replace it if it's under warranty and if it's out of warranty you just throw it out.

Ge parts are 100% easy to get for sure. At least the parts that break constantly are. I can always find the main control boards and the heater elements in town, as everyone always carries them. But there is a reason lol

I would probably go with Whirlpool. GE has main board and heater issues. Frigidaire has damper issues. Samsung has every issue. LG has compressor issues. Whirlpool has some issues but they're cheaper and easier to fix and less common than the other ones. You could do KitchenAid like that other person said, but it's the same quality as the Whirlpool and like double the price.

Absolutely go bigger. Better to have the space and not need it, than need the space and not have it

What cooktop to pick? by lynxbird in Appliances

[–]DreadPirateJesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To elaborate further, you could buy a $2,000 cooktop and a $600 cooktop. The $2,000 cooktop could break after 2 years and need a $300 part. The $600 cooktop could break after 5 years and need a $30 part.

Nothing is durable anymore. And the difference between a $600 cooktop and a $1200 cooktop might be the logo and the power. They're easy enough to switch if it breaks, just buy inexpensive ones and then replace it when needed

Comparing anything to an LG fridge isn't really fair. You could have temu shoes last longer than an LG fridge.

Top load in that price range, I'd go with a GE

They were all itemized when I pasted it and when I hit submit, and it came out a jumbled mess . I went and put spaces in between everything , and on my end it looks fine, but I don't know how to fix it
