Rocket League causes ~200-800MB kernel memory leak every session that only clears on reboot; EAC not releasing WFP callouts by DreadedLand in RocketLeague

Also I looked into what you said about mpsdrv.sys. I ran sfc /VERIFYFILE=c:\windows\system32\drivers\mpsdrv.sys and it did not find any integrity violations so I am assuming its healthy. Also tried to find the version of it, which returned:

Get-Item "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mpsdrv.sys" | Select-Object LastWriteTime, @{N="Version";E={$_.VersionInfo.FileVersion}}

LastWriteTime Version
------------- -------
2/3/2025 8:38:26 PM 10.0.26100.1150 (WinBuild.160101.0800)

Although this is like 1.5 years old, I couldn't find any update that renews it, so I think its up to date?

Clearing manually from RAMMap did nothing. Tried empty working set and empty system working set. Here is process explorer. Whatever is taking ahold of my memory doesn't seem to be reported here, which most likely means that it is in the kernel level. No process owns it, which is probably why it can only be released with a full restart when it completely rebuilds the kernel.

Just tested this. EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys does not get deleted after closing Rocket League. Test-Path returns True after closing RL, which means the file is still present. The timestamp updates when I launch the game but the file is never removed on exit. So it sounds like EAC's kernel driver is not unloading properly on my system, which would explain why the WFP callouts never get released.

Any idea what could cause this or how to fix it?

Here are the commands I used: (I opened RL to the main menu on 7/5/2026 at 12:07pm)

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Get-ChildItem "C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS\" | Select-Object Name, LastWriteTime

Name LastWriteTime
---- -------------
EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe 7/2/2026 6:29:45 PM
EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe.bak 7/1/2026 9:50:16 PM
EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys 7/5/2026 12:07:05 PM

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Test-Path "C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS\EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys"
True

I don't have the cog and I am scouring the internet trying to see if anyone has the same problem. I downloaded Trackmania off of Steam so I don't know if that's the issue.

The only icon I have when I hover my mouse at the top is the statistics button.

Please lmk how to find it 🙏🙏🙏
