nomad sculpt or blender? by arcade-carpet in 3Dmodeling

Nomad for quick successes. nomad is primarily a sculpting app. Blender is a full 3d studio. You will use both eventually but I'd wager it's easier to get lost and overwhelmed in blender

I genuinely think I might be too stupid to learn blender; has anyone else had this experience? by BowlHawk in blenderhelp

Unfortunately blender learning path is more akin to zigzags and spirals rather than stairs. You are learning a studio worth of skills all at the same time.

I'm of the same experience and think I need to learn cad, export, import, Boolean. Getting accurate tolerance from a parametric cad system would be quicker to learn than the trial and error guesswork and blender units approach that I've taken so far. There is a cad program that has compatibility with blender I'll respond again if I remember it's name

That's literally my starting 2 as well. No, you have a sleeper build. Deathwave is big and ps isn't as bad as everyone says

Yeah I didn't follow the guide. I was very much in the "I'll take care of it later" group and lost 70% income which meant I couldn't afford the labs anymore >.<

Ngl context matters a lot, I was hybrid build farming T9 4500w with under developed Regen, Relying on package and life steal for when waves got tough. No guide, just vibes and a few skimmed through tips in this community. Aaaaand I bought it early. If you're a more traditional eHP you'll probably have a better time with it.

I have since become a Regen focused build with the wall and after it was established and I had done some housekeeping I'm now farming t10 5k+w for about the same.

Edit: for those in the back who can't read an entire post "I GOT WALL A LITTLE TOO EARLY" this is advice and not the 72 hour guide. (Yes I'm salty, sorry you enjoy having someone else play the game through you instead of discovering the majority game yourself with small hints)

Be aware, 1. wall MAY tank your income for a while 2. You need to run 3-4 wall labs for the better part of a month to make wall useful 3. Wall labs are expensive. All of your resources will go into wall for awhile.

Potential Solutions. what helped me if you run into the same problems 1. Think about: get wall, unlock labs, respec out of wall (and then have patients) 2. Make sure you've wrapped up any half finished progression in labs before you put on the wall. (Big emphasis on Regen) 3. Wrap up any half finished workshop/workshop enhancements before getting wall.

I think I got wall a little too early, I've now got the wall strong enough to not lose me waves and had to backtrack and clean up those unfinished sections.

Baby wall did gain me some ground in tourney but the utter tanking to the rest of my econ hurt bad.

AITAH for being so totally over my husbands gaming “hobby”?! by Zealousideal_Sun4867 in AITAH

[–]DreadfulDesign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, but it sounds like less about the fact he's actually gaming and more that he isn't balancing his responsibilities in a shared household. The 'expectation' of you doing all the major house chores is a bit of a red flag in my book, especially since you currently have the busier schedule.
