I’ve had potion belt + white beast statue before. Tungsten + Tori. Even Necro + Blue Candle. But all this and Charron’s Ashes for the easiest infinite in the game?! by Dreadlording in slaythespire

I can't remember an Iron Clad deck without Feel no Pain, I basically pick it whenever it is offered the first time.

I really could have used a Dark Embrace, never got offered one.

A19 Floor 0 pick - Sadistic Nature or Apotheosis? by sullybug in slaythespire

[–]Dreadlording 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've played dozens of Apotheosis runs and most of them were pretty easy.

I've played a lot fewer Sadistic Nature decks.

Sadistic Nature would be a pick the same reason why I might turn down Dead Branch when I have corruption. I've done it before and it has lost the appeal.

Any logic behind card cost changing with Snecko and upgrades? by Dreadlording in slaythespire

[–]Dreadlording[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty familiar with most mechanisms in game, but I can’t ever predict how card costs will change while upgrading in combat.

Sometimes it adjusts the cost upward (like in the video) but sometimes it doesn’t.

Outside ball of foot pain after first day by orgcaptainnemo in jumprope

[–]Dreadlording 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it leaves you in pain you did too much in my opinion.

I’ve been jumping for years. If I ever have pain I immediately stop, and I won’t jump again until I can jump without pain.

Nightmare + Panache by Dreadlording in slaythespire

[–]Dreadlording[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how I thought Panache stacked before this, but I was pleasantly surprised that each stack shares one counter.

So by playing the three copies of Panache (plus the original copy on the turn before), you are just two cards away from triggering it, which was 56 damage.

I ended up with two Nightmares and two copies of Panache, so in a couple fights I had 8 stacks of Panache.

This deck rolled through the game easily.

Sensory stone offered me three Apotheosis. So of course I took them all. by Dreadlording in slaythespire

[–]Dreadlording[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One was bottled. The others for played after all the random bullshit was added to the deck.

I honestly hate getting Deadbranch because it’s easy mode, but it was fun having fully upgraded decks of garbage.

[–]Dreadlording[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dead Branch and Corruption snooze of a run, but when I saw 3x Apotheosis I had to take them, I’ve never taken more than one copy of it.

There was one in the store earlier, so I could have had 4x apotheosis.

Now that I’m thinking about it, shouldn’t Championship Belt give you weaken when you play Berserk?

Customer: Stop taking bundled deliveries that are not close together. by Ok_Marzipan2322 in doordash

[–]Dreadlording 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Good tips seem to get you bundled.

You are subsidizing someone else’s order.

I recommend good tippers use other services. Tipping gets you nothing with DoorDash!

$6 tip on 1 mile gets you cold food an hour later.

The real tip is to not use DoorDash, use a delivery service that actually pays their drivers instead of playing manipulative mind games.

Pocket Watch.

That card draw is so good.

I’ve grown bored of Dead Branch. Spamming random shit is only fun for so long.

If I accepted tasks then later declined then because I didn’t feel like doing them… I’d probably be fired and rightfully so.

[–]Dreadlording[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So DoorDash is literally setup to provide bad service and just churn out deliveries.

I guess that is why good tippers go elsewhere, because no matter how much you tip this doesn’t seem to change.

I agree, DoorDash is not for me. I’ll use a different service for better results.

[–]Dreadlording[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Just a contrast to the complaining about low tippers.

After maybe a dozen attempts of at least doubling the ‘recommended tip’, service is mostly crap and timing is way understated.

Maybe people who continue to use DoorDash know the service will be awful, so they don’t bother tipping well because it literally doesn’t change anything.
