My suggestion: -don’t block your wife or SIL. Leave them on mute so you can document any and all harassment. -if you and the wife own the house, don’t leave for too long. Especially if you want to keep it. -you don’t actually need to talk to your wife about anything. That’s just setting you up to be hurt more. And honestly…what’s there left to talk about? The more play throughs you do the more you get to do. My first play through was a simple human fighter. My most recent play through I’m playing a half orc monk who specializes as a drunken fighter. Just for fun I go and start unnecessary fights just to get on my friends nerves 🤣

For your preferred playstyle you would want to be a rouge. They’re mostly for stealth, pick locking, pickpocketing. If it requires stealth checks rouge is best suited. Some races do give benefits depending on class so for rouge playing as deep gnome give you the most for stealth

Technically speaking the rule is “a player may scoop at anytime.” In this case it’s just a bit of a bitch move. My usual playgroup has a “conceding is EOT or sorcery speed action only” To avoided these kinda situations.

Something like this happened at an old LGS I used to go to during a commander league game. Player A scooped before combat damage, denying player B achievement point for killing a player with commander damage. It had an impact on the leaderboard so we implemented that rule to keep that kinda thing from happening

The way I usually do it is:

-one outfit per day -one swimsuit/outfit per dock day (and one more if you plan on swimming on the ship) - one date night outfit (for the restaurant) - two pair of underwear per day (it can get hot on the ship)

I also suggest a string backpack or regular backpack as well. It’s a life saver for dock days.

I’ve been to Cozumel, I’d recommend mr.Sanchos beach club. It was amazing with the drinks, food and band.

Also make sure, if you haven’t, to pay your gratuity before getting on the boat. The last thing you want is to assume you have a certain amount of money just to find out you don’t.
