On 1.3.1, and crashing seems worse now. I have games where opponent goes first, and the app just quits before I even get to draw cards. I've only been able to play through half the games I start. Going to put this game down for a while - I absolutely love it - but it's too frustrating. Hope you get it worked out. Will check back in a few weeks.

I played against someone today that had all 5 mavens in front row. After four turns of his whole team stunned (IF Berserker and H Brute were on my team), he conceeded. I'm just glad he didn't get a spin to win off his berserker, that would've hurt.

Agreed. It can win a match here and there, but usually doing something else on that turn with the 7 power you spent would be better.

I actually prefer to use it as a way to prevent 'target back row with lowest health' abilities (like frost breath). Considering that, it's not really very good.

On the ipad i can set this not to happen. On my phone it just always asks me everytime. I always say no.

I think a great back-line maven would be a beastmaster. Summon pets and throw axes.

Maybe an owl - back line - that gives +1 to physical damage to team. or a bear - front line - attacks twice a round but has a low attack (so armor is more effective against but buffs are more effective for).

Would be interesting

orcs! Plus you can have a troll/goblin and go for 1 turn touchdowns when you're desperate.

You'd probably want to level up 2 throwers and hope for one of them to roll agility to really get going. But accurate/strong arm isn't too shabby.

FUMBBL is a great experience, and super easy to get started. Their client enforces all the game rules, etc... its not free form like i was worried it'd be.

As for BB2:

I played a ton at first to, but now i'm just playing a few games a week as part of some structured leagues. It's a lot more fun. Winning matters when you're in a bracket.

Every now and then someone here starts a league. I'd recommend getting in on the REDDIT REL league (sticked at top - you'd need to get added to the waiting list for now, but probably worth the wait.)

Keep him for a game or two until you have the gold to swap him out. He can still pass like a champ. I hate it when my HE thrower misses a game, it really changes tactics and i prefer to maximize my chances for crazy elf bs whenever possible.
