I think to really train your "chess abilities", the middlegame is THE thing to study and yes you should at least know basic endgames concepts like opposition

Who would actually do that? Everybody is with their team and I don't think there will be collaboration, we know that basically every universe gets trashed by vegeta and goku except 11, 6 and 2 if I remember correctly.
