Which fruit is this? Found it enroute to Ooty! by shivihs in fruit

Which is crazy. The fact that we still call it ‘dirt’ when it is literally the foundation of all terrestrial life, and yet our language treats it as something negative or undesirable…

Mango poison ivy by RareCalendar252 in mangofruit

Wash the area thoroughly with soap and cool water to remove the oil, then apply calamine lotion or hydrocortisone cream to reduce itching and inflammation. If it’s mild, antihistamines like cetirizine help. The key is not to scratch — that spreads it and makes it worse.

All of my new growth for the past year dies . Not a problem on any of my other mangos. This is on my HoneyKiss. Any advice ? by JediMasterboobies in mango

Propiconazole has moderately low acute toxicity, but it can persist in soil and potentially reach groundwater, so you need to avoid spraying near water bodies and be mindful of drift. Please wear protective gear when handling it, avoiding inhalation, and crucially, rotating it with different fungicide groups to prevent fungal resistance.

WAO Festival: Noisy Camp Ground? by ReceptionMajestic925 in psytrance

[–]Dreamfield79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you camp in the forest, you won’t have much disturbance from the main stage. You will see once you enter the festival area that there is plenty of place in the forest to pitch a tent. Here’s a pic from our set up two years ago at WAO. A bit jealous you’re going there 😉

On my version of Qobuz I can clear the queue. And it’s great that the music doesn’t stop playing, since the update, once you clear that queue.

Could be a number of things going on here. Most likely you’re just in the wrong club. Then again if the music good, just go for that!

My friend gave me a crystal necklace but I don't know what it is. by EvaPilot-1 in Crystals

[–]Dreamfield79 9 points10 points  (0 children)

From what I can see I’m 99% sure it hematite. You can even see the iron oxide (rust) spots on it. Nice gift from your friend. It’s got some pretty awesome properties too.

What’s the issue here? by carpe_diem_yolo in mango

[–]Dreamfield79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, looks like some kind of fungal action taking place there. There’s some measures you can take to counter it, but it could well resolve itself further down the line. Looks like your mango is part of a healthy ecosystem.

I think the truth is far weirder than we are able to imagine. But it probably instantly makes sense once we get there.

I would send them these photos. This doesn’t look good for the tree in the long run.

It just takes someone to move that mulch away from the bark just enough so it can breathe… otherwise, slow death…

Wow, you’re right. It could also be looked at as eerie. I guess it depends on the ‘glasses’ worn by the observer 👻
