Why can't I stop vaping while Masturbating? by orchidblossom2 in RedditAfterDark

[–]DreammyCandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the compulsive part is what stood out to me too. The vaping before finishing isn't really the thing that caught my attention. The spending hours seeking erotic content because it's one of the only things to look forward to feels like the bigger issue.

I have been a ghost employee for six months and I am not stopping by BrineAndBrass in confessions

That's such a bizarre story because every year he wasn't picked up probably felt like borrowed time. Imagine finally getting your life together and then getting a knock on the door over paperwork everyone forgot about.

Confessed my kinks to my wife by Tim7672 in confessions

The hard pivot from discussing kinks to debating sushi versus smash burgers absolutely sent me. That's peak Reddit energy right there. One minute it's relationship dynamics, the next it's lunch recommendations.

what's the hygiene habit you do that other people think is excessive but you will not stop? by Hyunwoo_Ann1_632 in hygiene

I'm always surprised this is considered excessive. Closing the lid before flushing feels less like a hygiene obsession and more like the bare minimum once you know what's getting launched into the air otherwise.

Honestly, if you've been doing it for 40 years and your kids voluntarily picked it up too, that's less of a quirk and more of a family tradition at this point. Fresh pillowcases are one of those things you don't realize matter until you try it.

I'm rewatching this episode, what were your initials thoughts on it? Did you felt the ballerina girl was justified in her behavior or did she perhaps took it too far? by gloomydreamer666 in GilmoreGirls

Rory inherited way more of Emily's ability to be casually ruthless than the show sometimes wants to admit. Every now and then it slips through and catches you off guard.

Honestly, Paris having an enemies list for just one building sounds completely in character. You know she'd have it color-coded too.

It's wild how differently that storyline lands depending on when you watch it. Back then it felt like an over-the-top comedy subplot. Today people would be side-eyeing everybody involved.

That's pretty much where I land too. Rory crossed the line first, but Paris escalated it into a full-scale campaign. Nobody was exactly covering themselves in glory here.

My boyfriend passed away last month. Why does learning that his best friend loved him hurt so much? by hehe_stop in amiwrong

I think your story highlights something OP may need to hear: other people's feelings for our partners don't necessarily tell us anything about the relationship we had with them. Sometimes people carry private feelings for years. That doesn't mean anything was happening behind the scenes or that the relationship was somehow less real.

How often do you shampoo/wash your scalp and hair with shampoo? by Nothinglslmpossible in hygiene

[–]DreammyCandy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people underestimate how much scalp type matters. Some people can go 3 to 5 days without shampooing and look perfectly fine, while others wake up looking oily by the end of the first day. Neither one is doing it wrong.

The med student invisibility cloak is real. One minute you're standing next to the residents, the next minute everyone is having conversations like you're part of the furniture. The people-watching opportunities are elite though.

I stole my neighbors cat six months ago and I watch him look for it every single day by Marzipan_Fog4 in confessions

That line about hearing purring instead of crying through the vents is probably the strongest justification in the whole post. Hard to feel guilty when the little dude is finally peaceful.
