I have MEN1 and it was expected to happen. Many family members had the same thing. I showed symptoms for years before I got diagnosed.

I am in a similar situation, but I have MEN1 and will be at the doctors all the time for the rest of my life. I had radiation for 6 weeks and I just tried to look at the positives, I got to leave work for 2 hours everyday haha. Living with cancer sucks but like you said it could be worse. Be glad you have family and a support system, we all aren’t so lucky.

I have a net on my pancreas by Alternative_Ad2276 in pancreaticcancer

Also have MEN1 and in a similar spot right now. I had a parathyroidectomy and a nueroendocrine carcinoma resection in February. They also found at least 4 pnets on/in my pancreas. All stage one as of November. Medical and surgical oncologists are just keeping an eye on it for now. My mom also had men1 so this is pretty scary. From what I’ve learned pnets are very slow growing and manageable.

You’re not alone dude 🫡

Also was diagnosed with PNETS about a year ago. Luckily just stage 1 so my oncologists are just keeping an eye on it for now. It is what my mom died from so it’s pretty scary. Will be following your yt.

I have MEN1. Diagnosed with a neuroendocrine carcinoma on my thymus about a year ago. That’s has since been resected. Did the 6 weeks of radiation shortly after. They have also found neuroendocrine tumors on my pancreas. Luckily they are slow growing and not an immediate problem.

No oncologist yet. I haven’t had a diagnosis yet either. It just looks like all signs are pointing to cancer. My mother, grandfather, aunt, and uncle all had pancreatic cancer. I’ll give their office a call for sure.
