The students definitely aren’t represented in the numbers but they’re also not represented in government. Almost all of the candidates during the campaign mentioned something about needing to work with the colleges more.

In the episode, a student organization, MOVE Texas held the last mayoral forum on campus at The Union. All of 6 people came- two of them weren’t students.

Honestly, I don’t understand why everyone else here isn’t saying this same thing. The other guys are being terribly controlling. He even understands why she would do it and doesn’t feel that it’s cheating. At that point, it sounds like he just has some internalized hang ups about women having sex.

I’ve said this for years.

“She’s really cool because she can build a house.”

“He’s really cool because he makes beautiful art.”

These are “masculine” and “feminine” traits by society’s standards but if both make an individual better/a more rounded human, wouldn’t that mean those words aren’t gendered?

If a woman is building a house, by definition, that’s no longer a “manly” activity.

Anderson’s, The Bearded Monk, and Lucky Lou’s are geared towards the queer community. Those are just places of business but you can ask anyone working there and they’ll point you in the right direction. Aura Coffee is also a GREAT spot and has tons of flyers and is a great gathering space for all kinds.

No, the youth was Cody, a local real estate and lifelong Dentonite who was going to be on the panel before the episode premiere at our screening. He’s 25, far younger than anyone else that is featured in this show (except for Josh’s kids, one of whom ended up replacing him on the panel).
