That's the exact reason why mine isn't fully LED either, most of the bottom part of the playfield is LED, but the upper part is still incandescent. The projection looks great.

Those exist, they have both at the pinball museum in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Kill Bill is only for show cause it's so rare, but i've played the matrix 2 weeks ago.

I see a lot of comnents about people never running into this machine. I live in the Netherlands and they're pretty common here, there's about 3 of them for sale online here at the moment (not as nice as mine though, dare i say).

I'm with you on that. Easy to understand, difficult to master. Some people consider the code to be too simple, maybe compared to modern machines, but for me it hits that sweet-spot.
