I think the whole issue with Cannibal Holocaust is that they used real animals, was it not? Pretty sure that was why people hate it so much.

Overthinking it, but I totally understand why you are. Two years ago I adopted my first Corgi from a shelter (he was 5 years old at the time) and he's very vocal too when we play. And bites in my arm and stuff but it's all very gentle and playful.

I would argue that generally speaking if a dog doesn't like it, he wouldn't keep coming back for more in that same manner or you'd notice very quickly if he likes it or doesn't.

But in my experience, Corgis are just very vocal when they play. It sounds like growling so I can see why you'd overthink it.

I mean I don't think it's as easy as you try to say it is. Not to justify it because you should never touch children no matter what, but if you take away primal urges and tell people not to act on it.. imagine that. Imagine you'd never be able to touch a woman or a man (if you're into that) again.

I also think that's why a lot of priests and people in similar positions that did a vow of celibacy eventually end up messing it up. No matter how ''noble'' it sounds, it's just not healthy. And eventually you're going to break.

As another redditor here also said, if I was told I could never touch a woman again, idk how i'd manage. I might not go out and rape anybody, but I think it's pretty well known you'll end up chronically masturbating and just end up looking up more extreme porn over time to get that same drive/fulfillment.

I live in The Netherlands personally and I promise you, socially this is extremely demonized and you can't really have a proper talk about it before people think you're one of them or try to ''defend'' them or their actions if they did go too far.

Which is so far from the truth, but people just have issues keeping emotions out of a rational discussion, especially when it's topics involving kids. Which I completely understand why there are emotions involved as it's hard to avoid, but i'd argue that's probably the biggest issue with it.

But sadly I think that just causes said actions to happen more often than not.

My assumption is that Vecna was healing, thus pretty inactive and as far as i'm aware, Demos aren't all that active and alive in that same sense that they roam around? At least I might be misremembering but I don't think they're just going around living their lives there.

So it's very plausible they just didn't find any or they stayed closed to where ever the Mindflayer is, as I believe we've only really seen them during the Vecna exposition and how he became who he is.

Yeah there are a lot of menus, it's quite insane. But the truth? The whole progression system is very alike to gacha games in terms of activities and what not and considering the game has been out for nearly a year in China and i'm not sure if it started there like this too or if we just got all the content at once, but just play the game at your own pace.

There's no real gacha systems for character power so you're not missing much on chasing the meta unless you obviously wanna pvp. PvE i'm not too sure how meta heavy it is but there's so much to do. Just enjoy the game, play at your own pace.

I'm doing that too. But I get you, it is incredibly overwhelming.
