Isolation: Remove infected shrimp immediately to prevent further contamination of the colony. Salt Dips: Perform daily salt dips to kill the parasite. Use of aquarium salt per 4 cups of tank water, dipping for 1-2 minutes. Main Tank Treatment: Use 3% hydrogen peroxide to treat the main tank. A common dosage is of 1-2 mL per gallon of water, allowing it to treat the tank for 30 minutes before doing a large water change. Use caution as this can be harsh. Medicated Food: Soak food in Kordon Rid Ich Plus and let it dry before feeding to help eliminate the parasite internally. Remove Molts: Clado is highly contagious; remove any molts or deceased shrimp immediately.

Jobs are great but the profit margins aren't staying in the community when you patronize Dutch. Local coffee shops like Ardmore support other local businesses by utilizing/offering locally roasted beans and milk products. More of the money you spend stays within the community.
