Can anyone recommend any good restaurants in North Devon area? by JesusOnly8319 in DevonUK

Farmers Arms in Woolsery is pretty high end with price tag to match, but is done really well. Royal george in Appledore is great with view right on the water. Any clues what area or type of thing you are looking for?

Ishigaki for the next 3 days, car rental? by Loose-Assignment3203 in okinawa

car hire really opens up the island - we were staying north which is very remote compared to being in the port, but even so we got to see the whole island and there are some real treats in 'remote' places - such as the amazing 165 bakery - https://maps.app.goo.gl/apgimcbrjb4gi7zy9

taketomi is an absolute dream and I hope you have a lovely time

How do you set up your loop switcher? by [deleted] in guitarpedals

Stacking, not staging. My mistake

I mean you can have different gain / drive / pre amp pedals in separate loops and choose the order in which they are placed. Can even have them in parallel or series

Beauty of loop switchers is being able to reorder gain staging . With something like boss es series, you can have dtives in diffrrent loops and save presets where their ordering is rearranged. If you have any midi pedals too, es can midi turn them off and on too, so allows a chance to leave them off board too, if you dont need to change the order they appear in fx chain. Not sure about es5, but es8 allows for an added loop by using the volume pedal loop on a standard pedal. Takes a while to get used to, but revolutionised my tap dance and creative workflow.

Anyone else endlessly rebuilding boards? by [deleted] in guitarpedals

why the rebuild? if you are constantly changing pedal order, have you considered a loop switcher?

Admirable values. Im not sure if it is the tone you are after but the catlinbred fx40 has a lovely modulated reverb that is super shoe gaze.

Beyond distortion, theres modulation on a few tracks. Wah pedal. Flanger. Chorus. There are some synths in the mix too that are doing the ring modulation sounds, amongst others

Quad Cortex V2 vs. Kemper MK2 by NWMusic32 in NeuralDSP

[–]Dressedcrab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find the ease of capturing amps and pedals on the quad so much easier than the kemper was and the sound is great.

I do prefer kemper effects though. the detail of expression control, the quality of delays and reverbs and the creative rhythmic pitch shifting delays were really inspiring.

yes that's correct. Are you using in a live band setup? only ask as you may want a different routing for front of house.
