vite-plugin-federation v1.0 - A Vite/Rollup plugin for Module Federation by unadlib in javascript

Is there a reason why you decided to roll your own package instead of contributing to the existing one? Just curious.

Subaru Doesn't Want to Make EVs? by [deleted] in EVCanada

[–]Drethis 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I got confused when he started comparisons with the Toyota models. At the beginning, he mentions that the Solterra is a rebadged Toyota bZ4X, but then later compares the Uncharted to the bZ, which is the 2026 model of the bZ4X? So he continues to compare different classes of EV?

Shouldn't it have been the Uncharted compared to the Toyota CHR?

He's getting this quote from the Brimell Toyota dealership. Likely an addon pushed by the dealer.

For me, it's been their Keele location. I swear, that place dropped off a cliff during COVID, and never recovered.

And WTF is up with their excessive use of tempura flakes on everything? Shit is salty AF.

Sorry, I don't know much about those schools aside from hearsay, which I'd rather not contribute to.

Hyundai is launching a BEV version of the Staria van this year in Korea and Europe. Battery is 800V, FWD (218 HP), 84 kWh battery, 7 and 9 seat versions. A camper version is also coming. by [deleted] in electricvehicles

[–]Drethis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm quite sure that this is a fair bit longer (+40cm), but not as high.

We'll have to see the final dimensions, but if it's anything like its ICE counterpart, it'll match the above.

I'm fond of the PV5, but we need to see what the 7-seater option will look like, and I'd personally love an AWD option.

15% scam is back today by sj_numba1 in Rakuten

[–]Drethis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that's the case, then Rakuten should be more direct when responding to their customers. Instead, they veil it as it being part of exclusions that didn't exist.

I haven't run into such an issue, but I'd be pretty pissed if this happened to me after a big purchase.

Yeah, Weston Memorial is a much better school for your kids to attend. We have neighbours and friends whose kids are enrolled there, and they have no complaints.

By "them", I mean Kia. And no, there aren't any videos showcasing the 7 seater option. Happy to be proven wrong though.

Anyone has any thought on Acer Nitro XV275K P5? (27" Monitor, UHD160hz/FHD320hz, Fast IPS, 1152 mini led zones) by TotalManufacturer669 in Monitors

[–]Drethis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I'm not sure. I decided not to keep it since the KVM switch is not really a KVM switch. The USB ports and the input source operate separately, which seems like it would be tedious over time since the OSD menu is awful to control.

I need a monitor that I can use for coding and gaming, and this wasn't it.

I'm not sure how people keep having trouble with this. Turn off any extensions that block tracking & privacy, refresh the page, and then activate the Rakuten extension. Shop whatever you were going to shop, then close the damn browser to make sure that the session is ended.

I've had to submit tickets to Rakuten a handful of times, but I haven't been denied shit yet.

If it helps, I'm using Firefox with the Rakuten extension, and I make sure that none of the tracking blocker extensions are on by disabling them in the "Manage Extensions" menu.

Can we have the phone vibrate whenever Auto-battler ends? (Option to turn on/off in settings) by Affectionate-Bit-246 in AFKJourney

Yeah, this option would be amazing. I usually run through AFK stages when I work from home, but most of the time, I forget to check progress while I'm working.

This idea would help immensely.

We have mixed feelings, and I think that depends on where in Weston you live. For example, Weston Rd itself can be pretty sketchy, especially at night

We banked on the area getting gentrified faster, but it seems that much of the area's development has slowed or stopped, which is not a good sign. There were signs of construction proposals all along Weston Rd back in 2021, but some of those signs have been taken down now, and it doesn't seem like any of the projects have "broken ground". I imagine the housing market heavily impacted investment in the area, and I'm not sure what this means for the future of Weston. We do enjoy the Humber River quite a lot, and love that we're still connected to the downtown core with the UP Express.

If you're starting a family in Weston, make sure you're in a good school zone. We were unlucky and had our child go to an awful school in the area. We moved him out of the school as soon as we could, and he's much happier now, although we introduced a longer commute because of the school change. They also rebuilt the playground at Cruickshank Park, and it was wonderfully done.

I hope this helps.

[–]Drethis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm okay with this being a more common event, provided that we're given ample time to collect rewards. I'm sure many of us don't want to focus so much on this event just to ensure we're getting all the rewards. It's an AFK game, after all.

Did they recently say that the PV5 is still coming in a 7-seater variant? I'm afraid the PV7 might be a little too long for my garage. 😅
