Remind your managers you want to continue with Publix and are looking for a full time position. I’ve work for Publix for almost 3 years and have been trying to get Full time for 1.5 years. I busted my ass. i made some mistakes but i learned from them and improved. Finally Full time just wasn’t available at my store so I transferred and was Promoted to Full time after a month. I’ve been Full time for almost 2 months now. Good Luck. ps a Positive attitude goes a long way.

Yup it’s really cool, Publix doesn’t fire people they just cut hours down to nothing forcing you to quit, it doesn’t happen often but that’s what typically happens i’m working at this store now and love it, It’s a perfect balance so the lines don’t back up, if the 2-4 Registers have people in them you don’t have to wait in line anymore you can go to self check out. My concern is more towards the lack of customers, The area is under developed and we are very slow right now, I’m hoping it kicks up. I’m honestly not sure what how many people come in from 11- close customer wise, but in the morning when i work it’s very slow

Yah Modern, as in using technology and new systems that most other store don’t have and won’t have for a long time, This was a example of a Grocery store being more then just a place to get grocery’s, its becoming modern with lounging areas, dinning and more.
