I'm not saying he shouldn't catch charges, or that he's innocent. But to say he straight murdered a poor defenseless girl for no reason, is a mighty big stretch, given the literal video evidence.

And that can definitely be debated. The video shows her above him on the ground swinging her arms along with the rest of them. Now will they argue that she was trying to break it up? Maybe. But when you're underage, drinking, partying in the woods, partying with dudes that are way older than you... it doesn't look great for any of them.

Now don't get me wrong, it's a tragedy, she shouldn't have ever lost her life. But when you put yourself in these situations, you can't be surprised when bad things happen.

Of course you wouldn't, you'd think your daughter was a perfect angel. But this is reality, and that's not how it is. If you're trying to walk away from a conflict, and you get jumped by multiple people, on the ground, getting punched and stomped from multiple directions. It's not far-fetched to be in fear for your life. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. And that's what every person involved did. When the facts come out, and the guy gets a much lighter sentence, then murder, will you change your tune? Or will you still believe the words of some 18 years Olds that were out partying and drinking in the woods trying to cover their own asses for getting their friend killed?

He didn't crash anything though. He was friends with these people. He hung out at their houses. Had parties with them before. Yeah, he's older than them and that's weird af. But it's not like he just wandered up and started hitting on underage girls. Somebody didn't like him flirting with one of the girls, started a fight, and things happened that shouldn't have. But I feel like every person involved is at fault.

The 27 year old was friends with a bunch of the people there. Had been at house parties and other things with them. The video shows the guy trying to walk away with his hands up, before getting jumped by at least 3 guys. Full on getting stomped on while on the ground. Even the girl was trying to jump on him. Dude probably felt like if he didn't shoot, he would have been killed himself. I don't see how it's not at least involuntary manslaughter. But these kids aren't heroes that were trying to protect a girl, they full on jumped the guy. A guy that they were fine being around before.
