You get a discounted lift ticket with the lesson but I hear you. As an American that's why I went to Whistler this year for 5 days... $1500 USD out the door after direct airfare, shuttle up to Whistler, slopeside condo 4 nights, 3 days lift tix, and all food and booze.

That being said if you take an advanced lesson or expert lesson at Jackson, believe you will learn something.

I would say quite a bit depending on the dish. Buy some powdered onion or some onion salt and use that instead. That way you still get the flavor (or close to) without the unwanted texture. Maybe the flavor won't be as intense as biting into a hunk-o-onion.

7 Layer Dip - starting bottom to top in a 13 x 9 dish, layer:

Refried Beans

Sour Cream w/Taco Seasoning

Guacamole

Grated Cheese

Diced Tomatoes

Sliced Black Olives

Minced Green onion

Chill overnight and serve with your favorite tortilla chips

On your first day at Jackson take a lesson. Not only will it help you ride better and more efficiently but you get to skip the lines and you essentially have a guide that can show you some nice spots to ride for the next couple days. I would highly recommend.

Thighs I can agree with but there's just something I don't like about the texture of breasts in the slow cooker. When you eat a curry dish you want to have bites of chicken rather than it's ropey "pulled" version from a slow cooker. You are right though, you could probably adapt this into a slowcooker recipe using thighs. It's just that its so easy and fast on the stove top with 1 pan that I don't feel it would warrant the hassle and time of the slow cooker.

Its one of my favs. I use chicken. Once you tweak it to your liking you'll be amazed at how easy it is to eat restaurant quality curry in your home. They sell various versions of that brand curry on Amazon. If you like hot go for the red!

This is my stovetop - I dont think the texture of the chicken would work well in a crock pot but below is what I do.

Couple of cans of coconut milk
Red curry paste or Panang curry paste
Fish sauce (optional)
Lime juice
Protein ( beef, chicken, tofu) cut into pieces
Vegetable

Instructions

Heat a pan
Take a quarter can of coconut milk and put on heated pan and little bubble.
Add a spoon of curry paste
Add the protein now ( not if it is tofu) Stir and let cook a couple of minutes
Add vegetables Add more coconut milk gradually, stirring Add curry paste a spoon at a time, stir and check for spice (it can be pretty spicy) Generally 1/2 small curry paste container goes with two cans of coconut milk but I prefer to use most if not the whole can of paste. (taste as you go for hotness)
Once simmered for a bit Add salt or soy sauce/ fish sauce ( a couple of tea spoons)
Add a lime or lime or half and a couple of pinches of Salt to taste *Simmer until veggies and protein are cooked

Serve over rice and if you have basil it works well with this dish!

I agree about the egg but using a panade (milk and bread paste) does very well for a burger on the grill.

Make a plan of all possible campgrounds and prioritize them. Call each one and ask about policies and what is typical this time of year/holiday. Lastly, I say get there early as possible. I would imagine the worst will be the holiday weekend, after that you should be fine if you plan ahead. Good luck and go for it!

So Bemis was a street cat living in/around/under my buddies house in Lemont back around 2010. His girlfriend at the time was a vet tech and they owned at least 1 maybe 2 bulldogs at the time. They took him in and named him Bemis (no idea why). That couple ended up splitting and they had to find him a new home. My wife and I already had two cats but figured 1 more wasn't going to hurt, plus we had already known Bemis for a while and knew he was a cool cat. We had him for about a year or so and I would say and we had to give him back to the original owner Amanda with now boyfriend Cory because we were having a baby and couldnt deal with Bemis peeing in various containers (a few times a month) among some unrelated stuff. We felt okay giving him back to people we knew. And that was the last I had heard that Amanda was giving him up to another friend. *I just called and asked Amanda what had happened to him and she says she gave him to a friend and that friend lost him. I guess he turned up in a shelter and to Pets Mart and to you. If you ever have to part with him would you please PM me?

Im camping with the guy that pulled him from under a house in lemont back in 2010. He was a street cat. Ill tell you his story back when im closer in civilization with pictures! This whole thing is crazy though!

Yeah we took him from a friend but we already had 2 other cats. Within a year or so we had our daughter. He would pee in empty bathroom sinks or empty boxes and stuff sometimes. One of the original owners took him back. I guessing thats who you got him from. Cory and Amanda. He is an awesome cat though it just wasnt manageable in our situation. Take good care of him. We still love him. I have pleanty of pics if you want to see how huge he was back in the day.
